These are recommendations made by Tropers for Puppy in My Pocket: Adventures in Pocketville fanfics. Always remember to use the template found here. No name recommendations will be zapped to the Big City. No exceptions.
Warn us when fics indulge in stuff that is about heat (or as you humans call it, NSFW) or straying away from canon territory. We all know that not every puppy enjoys those stuff. Oh, and remember, the matchmakers of Pocketville work so hard to make sure puppies gets paired up.

- Synopsis: A month after the events of the series, Princess Ava is trying to turn back to normal life. Nightmares remind her of what happened in the Big City, and she misses her sister Eva very much, however no one would understand. Suddenly, the Pet Buster, the evil man who kidnapped Ava while she was in the Earthen dimension, steals one of the Friendship Heart’s sister jewels and somehow finds his way to Pocketville. Ava and her friends must find all of the Magic Diamonds before the Pet Buster does, or her kingdom will be in peril. To do so, she must face her past, discovering secrets that she never has been told...
- Comments: This fanfiction is perfect for those who want to see a take on what happens after the show that's more faithful to the canon media. Fair warning that this fanfic has some grammar and spelling mistakes, but please excuse them; the author stated that she's still learning English. However, this fanfiction is well-done despite it. It's the longest fanfic compared to the other ones but surely Twilight will eventually be on par with it.

- Synopsis: It's been 30 years since the coronation of Queen Ava, and it's up to the next generation of Onmyoujin to become new leaders. However, when a 14-year-old anthropomorphic corgi named Malorie, and her Chosen Pet named Tia, made an unexpected visit to Onmyou-Kyou during the time numerous spirits infiltrated the capital, she temporarily joins High Priestess Amaterasu along with new friend along the way. Part of a much larger fanmade AU, Nihonverse Pocketville.
- Comments: Although only a few chapters are done so far and some of them will get updated to meet Nihonverse's criteria, this is actually a very well-done, top notch fanfiction. Not to mention that this is a cross between the author's main AU and her own original series. That's something you don't see everyday. Even the traditional Japanese take on Adventures in Pocketville sounds very beautiful, and if the author were to make more concept art of the settings they would surely stand out from the rest. The later chapters are especially lush with imagery, though they're nowhere near a Purple Prose.

However, all is not well when evil Princess Eva is interested in kidnapping Dot for revenge and also meets an old face.
