Felis aulicus and the Royal Family
  • Where are the rest of Ava and Eva's family since they are part of a royal family? Moreover, where are their parents? What's with their absence?
    • Probably because they're not important to the storyline of the series, but the only pets that have been in the castle are Ava and Eva, the Royal Guards, and Magic and Krakia were simply visitors. About their parents, as Ava is the monarch despite being a princess instead of a queen, one or both are most likely deceased. But of course they wouldn’t confirm their status because the kids wouldn’t like it.
      • Ava even says in "The Last Piece" that she'll return to Pocketville and reunite with her beloved friends, but never does she mention her family, while having tears in her eyes. Maybe she wasn't very close to other family members and her friends filled in the void her family was supposed to, and this just adds to the implication that her parents could be deceased.
    • The Pet Buster did say that there were only two Felis aulicus species in the world, that meaning Ava and Eva.
      • Except the Pocket Kingdom isn't on the same planet as the Big City. The kingdom most certainly has many more members of the species living there than what is known to humankind on Earth. Then again who knows who those two members were if Ava isn't one of them…

Had Eva truly always had been evil?
  • Eva hates everything about love (she hates everyone including her own lackeys), and told her sister Ava she always has been evil instead of simply being jealous, as Ava thought she was. Realistic antagonists can’t be evil for no reason. There has to be a reason behind their evil doings. Was Eva abused, meaning her and Ava’s parents chose favorites? Was Eva insane? Was she possessed by an evil spirit during the events of the show, meaning the impostor spirit lied to Ava? The show never tells us or gives us clues about it!
    • Something must’ve made her snap. As for how she thinks she’s always been evil, it could’ve been some sort of delusion.
    • Ava did say Eva wasn't always evil but Eva insists that she was, while Kate says that Eva is a liar. Ava most likely is correct but Eva very much refuses to admit.

Possible "Queen" of the Pocket Kingdom
  • If Ava is the monarch of the Pocket Kingdom yet only takes the title as princess for some unknown reason, then how come Eva mentions a queen of the Pocket Kingdom?
    • Ava probably has to wait some time until she could take on the title as queen, as maybe she was only recently made the monarch.

    Thumbed paws and tooth shapes
  • How come the Pocketville citizens all have thumbs on their paws? Are they secretly anthropomorphic shapeshifters? We’ll never know.
    • Also, how come some of them have humanoid teeth rather than their realistic jagged counterpart?
      • Because stylistic choice.

    Royal Guard residence
  • Where do the Royal Guards live?
    • The castle, as hinted by Balloon. They have dorms there.

    Pet Buster's real name
  • So we all know that everyone calls this man the "Pet Buster", even the Big City police. Does this man even have an actual name?
    • Maybe, but nobody ever bothered to give out his actual name to anyone.

    Pet Buster's communication
  • How come the Pet Buster can understand Eva? None of the humans are supposed to hear the Pocketville residents talking, with the exception of Kate because she had the Friendship Heart.
    • The Communication Shell allows him to understand Eva apparently.

    Pet Buster's license
  • Wouldn't the Pet Buster need a license to run an animal pound? How did he obtain one if he knows he's not going to treat them well in his care?
    • He does?
      • It could be a forged document for all we know, and given how just about all the adults are so oblivious to him being abusive, they probably think it’s genuine.
  • Kate says that the reason why the police can't do anything about the Pet Buster is that he has a license to sell stray pets. How come she never considers that evidence of animal cruelty at his place can potentially revoke his license?
    • She's 10; of course she wouldn't think further about it and would simply think a license would protect him from the law.
    • Because the Big City's judicial system is messed up?

    Magic Drop locations
  • How did a Magic Drop end up in places such as the castle, abandoned house, and a cave of all places?
    • They're magic?

    No alcohol for kids!
  • In “A Bad Fall”, during a toast between Kate, her father and his colleagues, and the boss’s daughter Vanessa, both Kate and Vanessa hold glasses that have something that is clearly identical to what the adults have in theirs. Since obviously 10-year-olds can’t have alcohol, what was in their glasses?!
    • Definitely juice. Looks reddish like wine so grape juice is a good, kid-friendly alternative.

Eva is a dog in feline clothing
  • How come Eva’s growling sounds more like a dog’s than a cat’s growl?
    • She even bares her teeth like a dog. Cats never do that.
      • The animators gave cat characters way too many canine behaviors apparently. Even Camo licks Kate on the face, and a cat’s tongue would feel like sandpaper. Not only this, but cats typically have nails that are pale-colored as opposed to a dog’s grayish nails. Eva has dark gray nails like a dog too.
    • In the French dub she makes more cat-like noises, so the other dubbers and voice actors probably don’t know a cat’s growl doesn’t sound like a dog’s.

    Vehicles
  • If the Pocket Kingdom doesn't have a known railway line and doesn't have vehicles (except for boats), then how come toy trains and cars are found in Holiday's gift shop?
    • They probably got information about them from the human world and made them so a Chosen Pet would give a gift to their friend.

    Tail docking and ear cropping
  • Why do Sketch and Tough (who are a Great Dane and boxer, respectively, and both do not have naturally pointed ears) have cropped ears and why does Zull have a docked tail? Is this implying that these practices exist in the Pocket Kingdom?
    • Zull could've lost most of his tail in an accident, but Sketch and Tough having cropped ears couldn't be that. It could, however, imply that cropping ears is one of those harmful cultural practices, sort of like foot binding in China.
      • Not only this but the designers were probably going off breed standards. Though for boxers like Tough of the Puppy Trotters, cropped ears aren’t really part of the standard.
    • It was a common belief that Rottweilers were born with short tails because of how common they are with docked tails, so it could explain why Zull has one. Still, the thought of ear cropping and tail docking being done in the Pocket Kingdom is messed up.
    • Steel Wool and other sheep seem to have a docked tail too.
      • Steel Wool likely lost most of his tail in some accident as well, but again, how would the other sheep have the same?

    Big City location
  • Where even is the Big City located? That’s one generic name for a city right there.
    • America, most definitely. All the signs are in English, they drive on the right side of the road, and pushing the king statue aside, the architecture looks very much like what a typical American city would have.
      • Could be, more specifically, New York City. That’s the one city people around the world tend to think about when thinking of a big American-style city. Besides, the nickname for it is the Big Apple, and the Big City sounds close to it.

    Knowing names
  • How does Ava immediately know Magic's name once he and Kate find her? Nobody ever mentioned that his name was changed to Magic to her, so how would she know?
    • Continuity error perhaps? Even in the flashback to the Friendship Ceremony Ava calls him Magic instead of Oristolfo.
    • Maybe before she was sent to the Big City, the Friendship Heart told her that his name was going to be Magic.

    Eclipse in the storm
  • In the second part of "Kate’s Birthday", the Royal Guards go outside in what is a thunderstorm. Balloon mentions that there is an eclipse. How in the world would they see an eclipse in a thunderstorm?!
    • Balloon probably saw a glimpse of the sun's corona in the clouds.

    Dangerous amusement park rides
  • Okay, so how in the heck do the amusement park rides lack safety harnesses?! Do they not know how amusement park rides work? Surprised that the park is still in operation. Not only this, why in the right mind would the Pet Buster stand up at the top of the rollercoaster demanding to get down?!

    The Felis Aulicus breed
  • If there are only two Felis Aulicus in the world and no one has ever seen one, (and Ava and Eva are from a different DIMENSION) how is there a picture online…or even knowledge of their existence? Plus neither of them don’t have anything that would distinguish them from the regular Siamese breed.
    • What do they even mean by “two in the world” anyway? What world? The human world? Anyways, this could be because a Felis Aulicus was likely chosen for someone in the human world years ago, and a scientist probably did research on it due to its differences from an ordinary house cat despite its appearance being identical to a normal Siamese cat.

Ava or one of the Royal Guards as Chosen Pets
  • Considering how the Friendship Ceremony works, what would happen if one of the Royal Guards got chosen by the Pocketpedia or even Ava HERSELF?
    • Ava herself could be an exception, but perhaps if a Royal Guard is chosen, it's no big deal and someone else could take their place, just like Doctor Copper and Bella.
