Proof that the remaining 10% is worth defying the Time Masters' Council for here:

These are recommendations made by tropers for Legends of Tomorrow fanfics, all of which have to be signed to stay on the page. Feel free to add a fanfic of your own to the list, but remember to use the template found here.

You can also add to the current recommendations if you want. Refrain from posting Conversation in the Main Page though; that goes in the discussion page.

Do warn when a fanfic may head into sexually explicit or non-canon territory. Some people just don't like it, and as we all know, Shipping is Serious Business.

Authors, and Websites

Stories focused on the family and the friendly relationships of the cast. Plot-focused stories or light day-in-the-life stories. Pretty much anything that isn't focused on romance.

Minutes of the April 7, 2147 Shareholders Meeting of the Kasnia Conglomerate, by nirejseki

  • Recommended by Belphegor
  • Status: Complete
  • Summary: In which the right person is selected for the right job.
  • Comments: In the author's words, "My attempt to remind the writers that Ray Palmer wasn't JUST an inventor, he was also a corporate CEO, which is a very, very different skillset." Or, Ray (helped by Sara and Snart) possibly saves the day by knowing a lot about law and how to run a company while Vandal Savage practically has a conniption. It's hilarious.

My Heart Is Gold and My Hands Are Cold by Mary Wisdome

  • Recommended by Bookworm Gal
  • Status: Complete
  • Summary: At the end of "Left Behind." Leonard needs some time to wrap his head around what happened to his hand. Sara doesn't want to drink alone, even if she is the only one drinking. They play Mikado and talk about what happened in the past two days/years.
  • Comments: It deals with the fallout of that episode very nicely.

The Adventures of Time Dad by DarkestSight (Daylight)

  • Recommended by Wakeywakey
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Summary: Some days Rip wants to strangle them. Some days he wants to hug them. Some days he wants to do both.
  • Comments: In the author's words, "a series of random short scenes of the team pretty much driving Rip insane, but with a lot of love thrown in. The scenes will involve silly and soppy crack and fluff and possibly some hurt/comfort." There is even one hilarious crossover chapter with Arrow and Flash where the leaders meet each other.

Long Way Home by SeaSpectre160

  • Recommended by Bookworm Gal
  • Status: Ongoing
  • Summary: Sometimes the road to home and family is not as short and quick as we'd like it to be, but eventually we get there. And sometimes, it can be even more challenging than saving the world.
  • Comments: Starts off as a series of short stories filling in the gaps of Season 1, but eventually becomes something more. Not only does it manage to bring back Snart after his Heroic Sacrifice, but then it managed to rework Season 2 to account for his presence on the team.

Legends of Tomorrow: Season Two Rewrite by multiple authors. Can be read here

  • Recommended by filipe
  • Status: complete
  • Summary: A fully fledged 22-episode rewrite - the same overall season arc, but very different individual episodes, character arcs, more character development, etc. All the things we wanted to see in Season 2 and which we didn't get - and keeping all the stuff we did like!
  • Comments: This collective work manages to maintain the pace of character development that was broken between season one and two, while preventing the characters from being OOC or out of focus.

Stories focused on the romantic relationships between the cast.

Memory Wipe by SingleDarkShade

  • Recommended by: bwburke94
  • Status: Complete
  • Synopsis: Crossover with Doctor Who. In 2012 the Doctor lost Amy and Rory to an Angel, except that wasn't what happened. Now Rip Hunter has managed to come to terms with losing his family and is travelling through time with the Legends to stop time aberrations. But he would really like to know who the redhead is, why he finds her so attractive and why she keeps trying to kill him.
  • Comments: With so many Doctor Who alums appearing in the Arrowverse, this sort of plot had to show up eventually. And though it's not the first fic to do something like this, it's almost certainly the best. —bwburke94
