The Hater Good
is a fanfiction series by Lightning The Pikachu. A Mega Crossover between Breadwinners, The Brothers Flub, Fanboy and Chum Chum, Pickle and Peanut, Pig Goat Banana Cricket, Rocket Monkeys, Sanjay and Craig, and Space Chickens In Space and many others.
The Current Version of The Hater Good Provides Examples Of:
- Accidental Misnaming: Bebe accidentally calls Glargg "Glarp".
- Adaptation Species Change: The author wanted to make humans rare or extinct, so Sanjay is a dragon, Fanboy is a hedgehog, and Chum Chum is a raccoon.
- Affectionate Nickname: Pig calls his sister Melba "Melby".
- And Call Him "George": Glargg hugs Finley so tightly he almost chokes a little.
- Anger Born of Worry: Glargg yells at Finley for not listening to him, but he reveals he didn't want him to get hurt which is why he became even sticter.
- Anthropomorphic Food: Wiri is a living pepper.
- Burning with Anger: The stem on Wiri's head catches on fire when they are angry.
- Card-Carrying Villain: Of the Doom Demons, he considers himself the most evil and is proud of it.
- Cruel to Be Kind: Glargg feels bad for yelling at Finley, but he just wants to protect him after losing him before.
- Cry into Chest: Starley cries in Glargg's arms, admitting how worried she is about Chuck.
- Don't You Dare Pity Me!: Brian tries to console his brother Glargg, but Glargg rejects all his attempts.
- Everybody Cries: Everyone in the room cries when Glargg explains how he lost his favorite cadets.
- Expressive Ears: Glargg's antennae sometimes droops when he feels sad or guilty.
- Fell Asleep Standing Up: Sally falls asleep while standing up while Pele announces his big speech.
- Glowing Eyes of Doom: Weatherbelle's eyes glow when she glares at Sally.
- Greed: Gingham wants to be paid handsomely for their job.
- Growling Gut: Pig's belly growls after he greets the other characters, which leads him to suggest a picnic.
- Hair-Trigger Temper: Wiri represents the sin of wrath and their temper is hot like their kind.
- Imagine Spot: Finley imagines Starley and Chuck telling him off for leaving them.
- Laser-Guided Amnesia: The inhabitants of the forgotten worlds forget their past lives.
- Last-Name Basis: It's revealed Glargg is called by his last name, his first name being Percival.
- Lazy Bum: Sally represents the sin of sloth and gets sleepy a lot.
- Massive Multiplayer Crossover: The whole premise is many unpopular characters being together.
- Monstrous Seal: Weatherbelle is a seal/siren hybrid and she's the malicious boss of Eve and Bebe who is tricking them into going against their own goals of getting rid of the Doom Demons.
- Mood Whiplash: Glargg and Finley's moment of bonding is interrupted by Cricket freaking about because he can't steer the ship properly.
- Never My Fault: Glargg blames Finley for crashing the ship when Finley was just trying to fix it, he was even called out for it, though he realized he was wrong.
- Non-Mammalian Hair: Sanjay is a dragon but still has his black hair.
- O.O.C. Is Serious Business:
- Glargg is so distraught about being imprisoned not even his beloved pet BliBli can cheer him up much.
- Banana and Gus who are usually aloof tear up over Glargg's sad story.
- Glargg is so worried about Chuck disappearing that he speaks in the first person which he rarely ever does.
- Papa Wolf: Glargg towards Starley, he helps her escape from Miss Boomdeeyay who is making her an indentured employee.
- Parental Substitute: Finley reveals he sees Glargg as a father.
- Perverted Pig: Lucinda is the embodiment of lust and thinks about strong men.
- Please, Don't Leave Me: Starley begs Bebe not to leave so they can find her brother, Chuck together.
- Red Eyes, Take Warning: Finley imagines his siblings yelling at him for accidentally abandoning them.
- Related in the Adaptation: Pig is Goat and Melba's stepsister but he wasn't related to them in the original.
- Single Tear:
- Finley sheds a single tear when he says Glargg doesn't love him.
- SwaySway sheds one when he's betrayed by his sister Sally.
- Snakes Are Sinister: Pele is the leader and prides himself of being the most evil of all.
- Unwilling Roboticisation: Miss Boomdeeyay has a robot army which she told Starley used to be real people, but this turned out to be a lie on her part to keep Starley working for her.
- Teacher's Unfavorite Student: Finley feels like he's Glargg's least favorite cadet and that he even tolerates his siblings more. This is subverted when Glargg reveals he missed Finley when he gives him a big hug.
- Tears of Joy: Glargg sheds these when the Hater Good group offers to help him find his missing cadets.
- Tears of Remorse: Starley cries while begging Glargg to forgive her for lying about how she was separated from Chuck.
- Was Too Hard on Him: Brian feels guilty for imprisoning Glargg even though he knows he did it for a good reason.
- "Well Done, Son" Guy: Finley admits deep down he wants Glargg to be proud of him. Glargg is touched and hugs him.
- Who's on First?: When Pig meets Angry Old Raisin, he says "Go Away" when Pig asks his name, so Pig thinks "Go Away" is his actual name.
- Wingding Eyes: Gingham gets dollar signs in her eyes when she hopes she will be rewarded for doing her job.
- You Monster!: Glargg yells this at Brian when he takes his pet BliBli away.
