- Anger Born of Worry: When Steve calls Jazz's number while Danny is unconscious after the invasion is defeated, she immediately starts angrily yelling about how worried she was, asking if he was in the invasion.
- Atrocious Alias: Danny still doesn't like being called "Inviso-Bill".
- Canon Welding:
- The energies of the Infinity Stones are noted to be similar to ectoplasm, and Danny notes that the scepter feels like the Crown of Fire and Ring of Rage. This is part of why Danny is recruited for the Avengers.
- The Fentons tried to contact Tony about anti-ghost weaponry, but got turned down.
- There are ghostly Asgardians in the Ghost Zone who hang out with the Far Frozen, and Danny has met a few of them.
- Demonic Possession: Danny overshadows one of the Chitauri whales during the attack on New York, using it to attack another.
- Evil Cannot Comprehend Good: Loki tries to coax Danny to his side after escaping from his prison on the Helicarrier, which Danny can see coming a mile away; pointing out that he's working for people who would seek to destroy him, other ghosts, and even the Ghost Zone at a moment's notice. Danny replies that he knows that, having only joined up with the Avengers to stop Loki, since he like Earth the way it is and wants to avoid seeing it run by an Evil Overlord like Loki, which causes said Asgardian's smile to fall a bit. When Loki asks if he doesn't care about his own well-being, Danny says that he does, he just cares about others more. Danny can feel Loki's mind reeling when he says that.
- Expecting Someone Taller: Thor and Loki don't recognize Danny as "The Great Phantom" who defeated Pariah because they didn't expect him to be so young.
- Famed In-Story:
Word of God is that Asgard has heard of Danny's defeat of Pariah Dark, Thor and Loki just fail to recognize him because they didn't expect the "Great Phantom" to be so young. - For Want Of A Nail: Danny is the one who carries the nuke through the portal due to a Chitauri weapon disabling Tony's armor, and Loki uses his magic to save him rather than the Hulk catching him.
- Fusion Fic: Amity Park and the Ghost Zone are part of the MCU in this story.
- Journey to the Center of the Mind: Danny enters Loki's mind to help him.
- No-Sell: Danny is unable to phase through the barrier around the Tesseract atop Stark Tower.
- "Not So Different" Remark: Danny is able to appeal to Loki by telling him that thanks to Freakshow, he too knows what it's like to be controlled.
- We Can Rule Together: Loki tries to convince Danny to join him, or at least sow mistrust against S.H.I.E.L.D. Danny rejects him, since he likes Earth as it is, and he already knew that the government didn't like him.
- What the Hell, Hero?: Danny calls Thor out for failing to realize that Loki, his brother, was being controlled.
