The Heroverse is a Super Fic verse of The Loud House written by UnderratedHero who also wrote Requiem for a Loud.

The series, as described by the author, is essentially what would happen if you took the characters from The Loud House put them in a Marvel Cinematic Universe and went from there. Each of the Loud siblings is reimagined as orphans, part of a different family (except for Lori and Leni) who all have various superpowers.

The verse is currently ongoing but gets frequent updates. It can be found in a list here on Archive of Our Own and all the fic's can also be found on the author's page on FanFiction.Net.

The entries in the series (all of which are listed here) are:

This verse contains examples of:

  • Actionized Adaptation: The original show was a Slice of Life with minimal action. This verse, due to focusing on superheroes, has a ton of action.
  • Adaptational Badass: Nearly every character is given some of this. Especially the super-powered characters who weren’t superpowered in the series, many of the non-superpowered characters have access to advanced tech that makes them able to keep up with the supers.
  • Alternate Universe Fic: The verse is set in one of the main Loud House universe, where all the Loud children are orphans with superpowers.
  • Celebrity Superhero: Many of the heroes in the verse have gotten quite famous, especially Ace Savvy, until his death.
  • Conveniently an Orphan: Every single one of the main characters, as well as several of the side characters, are orphans.
  • Curse: One of the main points of the verse is that the town of Royal Woods is cursed so that all of its heroes die. The reason Ace Savvy is so legendary is that he was able to avoid this, at least until the start of the fic.
  • Darker and Edgier: While they still have their many light moments, each of the fics is much darker than the source material, with things like actual onscreen deaths.
  • Fan Verse: As the name suggests.
  • Magic Meteor: The backstory of how superpowers exist in this verse is a meteor hitting earth and giving people powers.
  • Myth Arc: The series has a few. The most important ones are the backstories of all the main characters, the nature of the curse that afflicts Royal Woods, and the dangerous threat alluded to by Lisa.
  • Lighter and Softer: While still Darker and Edgier compared to the show, the fic is this compared to the author's previous work Requiem for a Loud. The Heroverse focuses much more on lighthearted moments and the hope of things eventually improving and getting better, as well as the heroes saving the day from threats.
  • Plot-Triggering Death: The death of Ace Savvy is the main trigger for everything that happens in the verse.
  • Randomly Gifted: The superpowers in this verse seem to show up in people randomly with no reason known yet.
  • Secret Identity: Each of the heroes have a fake name and an obscuring costume that they use while they are a hero. Apparently, in this world, secret identities are even protected by the government, so that anyone who shares them online is committing a crime.
  • Shout-Out: Each of the subtitles in the fics is a reference to some other work.
  • Super Fic: Simplified, the series is basically The Loud House but all of the Loud Siblings have superpowers.
