- Ship Sinking: "Connecting" reveals Anne and Sasha did become an Official Couple for a while shortly after Amphibia's events, but broke up during high school due to diverging social groups and drifting apart with Sasha having moved on to another girlfriend by this story's events, and Anne getting some new Ship Tease with Marcy.
- Ship Tease: Anne and Marcy get this during the fanfic especially in "Connecting" showing Marcy staying at Anne's place and Anne finding Marcy adorable while sleeping.

- Take That!: "Homecoming" has one toward the infamous series finale of Star vs. the Forces of Evil with Terri's response to the IT Gals bringing up Echo Creek and Mewni merging as part of recent dimensional incursions:Terri: We don't. Talk. About. Echo. Creek. Ever.
- Thin Dimensional Barrier: It's suggested that the dimensional walls have been weakened by repeated incursion events, with one temple swapping places between Earth and Amphibia seemingly at random.
- Yin-Yang Bomb: Maddie has joined Valeriana in rebuilding her order, saying that you can do interesting things with both dark and light magic.
