Fanfic / Attack of the 100-Foot Meg Griffin

Go To

Attack of the 100-Foot Meg Griffin is a Family Guy fanfic written by Grey-X. The story is about... well, take a guess.

Despite that its main focus is obviously Meg, the other five Griffins appear, as well as many supporting characters. It explores the relationship between Meg and the rest of the family, and how they handle such a situation. The humor is prevalent, but there is also depth and Character Development.

Attack of the 100-Foot Meg Griffin provides examples of:

  • Flanderization: Inverted, since most of the show's Flanderization is reversed.
  • From Nobody to Nightmare: This line sums it up.
Like everyone else, he (Joe) was surprised how a quiet girl like Meg could simply explode with homicidal rage. Guess it just went to show that eventually, those pushed too far will always push back. Unfortunately for Quahog, Meg was pushing back at a time when she had the strength to topple buildings like dominoes.
  • Green Rocks: The meteor fragment that makes Meg grow into a giant.
  • Groin Attack: A cut away gag involving Stewie in the body of Sailor Chibi-Moon has him/her accidently shoot Peter in the crotch with their Pink Sugar Heart Attack.
  • Marshmallow Hell: When Meg first grows giant, Stewie knocks her out with a tranq gun, only to be crushed unter one of her boobs.
    • Meg taunts Connie by squeezing her between her now-giant boobies. "So tell me, Connie, are they big enough now? You think they're big enough now?"
  • Papa Wolf: A minor example, but see Continuity Nod above.
  • Reference Overdosed: It is a Family Guy fanfic, so pop-cultural references are a given.
  • Roaring Rampage of Revenge: Meg tears down Quahog after Connie's plan fails. However, she succeeded in making her believe that it was her family who was behind everything.
  • Shout-Out: Many, as fitting for a Family Guy fanfic;
    • Quagmire's car ends up destroyed when he won't take no for an answer while flirting with Princess Peach and Princess Daisy.
    • Meg thinks back to the time she got a makeover, bitterly noting that she looked like a Bratz reject.
    • The Griffin Family are watching Star Trek: Voyager when the meteorite hits.
    • After Meg kicks him out of her room, Stewie angrily mutters that they were already accused of ripping off The Simpsons and that if she starts kicking misshapen babies then Trey Parker and Matt Stone will get involved too.
    • Meg is sent a mysterious package that covers her in pigs' blood. As Stewie says, it could come across as cliché to horror movie and Stephen King fans.
      • Peter rather thoughtlessly asks a blood-drenched Meg if she's auditioning for a Rob Zombie movie.
    • A terrified Meg after her transformation states that she's grown to the size of King Kong.
    • As Peter starts filming Meg, he dubs her Megzilla.
      • Godzilla himself later shows up during Meg's rampage throughout Quahog, although he sulkily goes away after Meg tells him off for trying to steal the show. He's then beaten up by Sakura after using the Grow Card.
    • A flashback reveals that Stewie once somehow swapped bodies with Sailor Chibi-Moon.
    • Meg accidentally kills Captain Planet with one of her uncontrollable farts.
    • A series of flashbacks show various oversized women causing problems;
      • Michael Eisner has to deal with a gigantic Alice after she's eaten a certain mushroom.
      • Chris is dressed as Goku at an anime convention and witnesses Sakura beating Shinji's Evangelion Unit 01 into pieces of scrap metal after using the Grow Card to become the same size as the mecha.
      • After asking for some help jump starting their car from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Brian and Stewie instead have to deal with a gigantic Irma.
    • Starscream ends up being caught up in the fight between Meg and Carolina and is promptly pounded into the ground.
      • Bumblebee narrowly avoids being crushed by Meg during her staged rampage in the junkyard and later shows up to give Death a ride.
    • A flashback reveals that Peter accidentally prevented a terrorist attack when he runs over the would-be terrorist because he was too absorbed in reading his Juggernaut comic.
    • Meg practises her bird calls to try and cheer herself up, resulting in a herd of chocobo running down the street, with Cloud Strife dangling helplessly from one of the saddles. When she's encouraged to try again, hundreds of ravens come flying down, trapping the Griffin Family in a phone booth.
    • When discussing that some people are into enormous women, Peter points out that the Belmont family must be into weird things, given all the leather and whips.
    • Lois accuses Peter of thinking about filming Meg and selling the footage when he's actually thinking about Wonder Woman and Supergirl wrestling in an inflatable pool of pink jello.
    • Meg captures and eats Jaws in a manner that makes Big Boss's survival tactics look gentlemanly by comparison.
    • Meg is attacked by Ewoks shortly after waking up one morning, including some in an AT-ST Walker. A flashback reveals that she also recently got ambushed by General Zod only for her to send him and his henchmen flying by farting at them.
    • A flashback shows Peter trying to get Nightwish (Band) to accept Tarja Turunen back into the band, referencing their infamous open letter to fans shortly after firing her. It ends up with the band and Tarja beating Peter to a pulp.
      • Tarja then shows up to perform with Chris' band and ends up flooring Peter again.
    • Peter eagerly watches the 'greatest moments in wrestling' where Triple H calls out General Grievous only to get brutally attacked by him with four yo yos.
    • While filming a scene for her movie, Meg ends up eating the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man after the Ghostbusters have toasted him for her.
    • A flashback shows The Angry Video Game Nerd barging into the Griffins house to express his views about Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III.
    • Stewie and Jeff Goldblum are busy escaping from a T-Rex when Stewie is able to fell the dinosaur with a tranquilliser dart. Mr Goldblum is about to thank Stewie when he's shot with a second dart, with Stewie stating that it was for him starring in Cats & Dogs.
    • Peter is able to bring back everyone that Meg killed during her rampage by collecting the dragon balls. Unfortunately, he can't use the second wish to fix Quahog as Goku needs it to fix the five mile radius of scorched earth following Vegeta trying to feel up Android 18 at a party.
    • A flashback of a costume party has Connie dressed as Cammy, Meg as Chun-Li and Peter as E. Honda whereupon Meg and Peter pummel Connie so badly between them that she falls slowly to the ground, complete with a disembodied voice declaring 'YOU WIN'.
  • Simple Solution Won't Work: When Dr. Hartman suggests that removing the meteor shard might return Meg to normal, Peter points out that, since said shard is radioactive, they might be able to scan for it. Hartman tells him no, they need it's exact location, and based on Meg's description of events, it went pretty far up her butt, necesitating a colonoscopy with specialized equipment, which could take weeks to manufacture.
  • Take That!: Ann Coulter getting peed on by a wolverine.
    • As well as many other incidents.
    • As noted above, Stewie hits Jeff Goldblum with a tranq dart as payback for starring in Cats & Dogs.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: Meg not only gets revenge against everyone who'd wronged her, but she also finally gets the respect she's always hungered for.
