MetroLight Studios was a visual effects studio established in 1987 by former Cranston/Csuri employees James Kristoff and Dobbie Schiff. The studio is possibly best remembered for the CG X-Ray scene in the 1990 version of Total Recall, of which they would duplicate for some of their commercial work. They also created the 2D program MetroCel. Some more information can be found here.
