Emmalyn Paulette Moody (born February 17, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan) is an American actress. She is best known for Roots, White Dog, and Knots Landing.
Moody never married but had a daughter in 1964, giving her up for adoption. She and the daughter, Lisa Wright, reunited decades later.
