Glenne Aimee Headly (March 13, 1955 – June 8, 2017) was an American actress.
She was a member of the Steppenwolf theater company in Chicago. It was here that she met John Malkovich to whom she would be married for six years. Her film career began in the 1980s with the dramedy Four Friends but it was her role in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels that she would be best remembered for. She was seen a few years later in Dick Tracy as love interest Tess Trueheart. Headly's other films included Getting Even with Dad, Mr. Holland's Opus, Babe: Pig in the City, Breakfast of Champions and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen. On television, she had recurring roles in ER and Monk. She filmed a few episodes of the series Future Man before her death from a pulmonary embolism required the writers to rework the additional episodes she'd been scheduled to appear in.
