Chara
- Ambiguous Gender: Subverted. In this fanfic, they are explicitly started to be nonbinary.
- Childhood Friend Romance: With Asriel.
- Crown of Horns: Wears a horned circlet during Asriel's coronation.
- Driven to Suicide: Attempts suicide several times through the story.
- Handicapped Badass: As a result of the buttercup poisoning, Chara's mobility is somewhat limited, but this doesn't stop them from learning how to fight and eventually becoming Asriel's official honor guard. Solidified in under my skin, there will be flowers, where they successfully duel Holly (who is ready to kill if she has to) to a standstill.
- Jewish and Nerdy: Is Ashkenazi on their mother's side, and is very much a nerd.
- Official Couple: With Asriel. As of you in your veil and pale white dress, they are Happily Married.

- Expository Hairstyle Change: Has a different hairstyle in every book they appear in, reflecting their growth over the series.
- Orphan's Ordeal: At age six, Prase lost their parents in a car accident and was put in foster care. Since then, they have been through a lot of foster homes and eventually got tired of abuse along with lack of any stability, deciding to commit suicide by climbing Mt. Ebott rather than continue living this way.

- Ambiguous Gender: Averted. Here, they are explicitly stated to be nonbinary.
- Big Eater: Due to not getting enough to eat before they fell.
- Eyes Always Shut: Justified. Frisk's eyes are extremely sensitive to light and poor kid can't physically stand having them open. This trope no longer applies after Frisk gets special tinted glasses to protect their eyes from light.
- Happily Adopted: By Asriel and Chara.
- Innocent Blue Eyes: Despite their Asian heritage, Frisk has blue eyes due to genetic lack of pigment there. The downside is that their eyes are very light - sensitive.
Monster Characters
Asriel Dreemurr
- Ermine Cape Effect: Asriel is very fond of elaborately decorated formalwear, in contrast to Chara's more Simple, yet Opulent tastes.
- Official Couple: With Chara. As of you in your veil and pale white dress, they are Happily Married.
- Spared By Adaptation: Is alive and well here, due to Chara not commiting suicide.
