Type-M

- Caps Lock: The team's name is written as "TYPE-M" in the Japanese release.
- Freudian Excuse: If you're wondering why Type-M came to be to begin with, it was because Yugawara lacked the money to afford a GT-R, and he bought his GTS-T instead. When he revealed the truth, several other drivers mocked him for it, which lead to him developing an hatred of the higher trim of Skyline and spreading it to other drivers, which eventually resulted in the birth of the team.
- Meaningful Name: Type-M refers to one of the higher performance trims of the R32 GTS-T, which larger wheels and brakes.
