Iyer and Winterlich: General Services
Colette Geise
Played by: Blythe Renay
A put-upon seamstress from a small town who finds herself at the centre of a plot involving a magic crystal.- Bespectacled Cutie
- Blessed with Suck: Has a death ray in her head that can blow up pretty much any living thing, but it has caused her to suffer from chronic migraines and using it too much gives her radiation sickness.
- Covert Pervert: Tries to hide her enthusiasm for things like Katerina's touchy-feely seance, or seeing a stripper do the dance of the seven veils, but isn't very successful. Also makes an awkward pass at Father Ben in the Forgive Me crossover, and sneaks into Eisen's room to look at his porn collection.
- Loser Protagonist: Colette starts the series as a single high school dropout who hates her boss and has no friends outside of her landlady.
- The Runaway: Escaped from boarding school when she was 15 years old and hasn't seen her family since.
- Spirited Young Lady: Highly independent and modeled after the classic Gibson Girl in illustrations.
- Textile Work Is Feminine: Colette was an apprentice seamstress before the Kingmaker re-emerged and her dream is to become a fashion designer.
- Wholesome Crossdresser
Eisen Iyer
Played by: Taqi Nazeer
An artificer and former revolutionary who now works as a fence and smuggler.- Brave Scot: Eisen isn’t actually Scottish in-universe, of course, but the actor playing him keeps his natural accent to compliment Eisen’s personality.
- The Engineer
- Jerk with a Heart of Gold
- Magnetism Manipulation: He can manipulate any manmade metal object using magic.
- Sir Swears-a-Lot: The only member of the main trio who ever drops the f-bomb. "Oh, for fuck's sake!" is essentially his catchphrase.
- Technopath: Uses a spell called 'transmission' to talk to machinery.
- Wrench Whack: His go-to weapon.
- You Killed My Father: His parents were killed by Ariadne.
Telesphore Winterlich
Played by: Josh Rubino
Eisen's partner in crime, an ex-professional chef hailing from the Kehrseite.- Affectionate Nickname: Eisen usually calls him 'Telsie' for short.
- Badass Driver
- Big Beautiful Man
- The Big Guy
- Bizarre Alien Senses: Has a very sensitive nose, which he says is a trait of his people. His nose is so good, in fact, that he can detect differences in gunpowder at a distance and uses that to track his opponent in a shootout.
- Chef of Iron: An accomplished cook who used to work in food service, also incredibly physically strong.
- Gentleman Snarker
- Mysterious Past
- Offscreen Teleportation: One of his explicit powers as a "good neighbor" is teleporting as soon as he's out of people's line-of-sight. Eisen finds it a bit annoying.
- Technicolour Eyes: They're pink, they glow, and they mark him as a being from the other side.
