- Disappeared Dad: Ollie's dad hasn't been in her life for a decade it turns out. Birdie, her mom, rejects his call saying having been absent so long he's too late for reconnecting. Later, as Birdie has to work along with him on a con, it turns out they've never met. He insists he's changed and apologizes, wanting to meet her. They see each other briefly, with Ollie realizing he's her father. Birdie still isn't ready to have him in her life just yet though. Ollie accepts this. It turns out he was threatened to stay away from her after endangering Ollie as a baby by her grandpa Leo until he'd cleaned up.
