     Indomitable Heroes 

"The Indomitable are amazing warriors and strongsouls. They are headstrong, bold and never back downfrom a fight. Their keen sense of honor and justicemeans they are the light in the darkness, leading theway into a brighter future." Indomitable Heroes have high Brawn and Resolve Traits.

Ambrozy Czyzyk

A Winged Hausser who is out to stop a terrible evil facing his land.


Catalina Morta

A captain on a mission of vengeance against an evil sea monster.


  • The Ahab: Catalina looks to rid the seas of Estallio, a giant sea serpent.
  • Badass Spaniard: Though, all Castillians fit the bill, Catalina is special as she pilots a ship that's essentially the Black Pearl.
  • Flying Dutchman: La Morta's Espada, Catalina's ship, has this reputation.
  • Just Like Robin Hood: As a privateer for Castille, Catalina has begun to hunt vessels carrying food and books to bring home rather than those carrying weapons.

Eadric Croft

A powerful Inismore bandit who is blessed with supernatural powers.


  • Doomed Hometown: Raiders burnt down Eadric's Inish village when he was 12.
  • Eyepatch of Power: In his character art.
  • I Work Alone: Eadric needs to maintain good relations with locals, otherwise he's at risk of living an isolated, half-existence.
  • Magic Knight: Eadric has access to Avalon's Sorcery, Glamour.
  • Moses in the Bulrushes: How Eadric's mother saved her son from the raiders.
  • Red Baron: Locals sometimes call Eadric the "Ghost of Inismore."
  • Seers: Eadric receives visions that show him to the next town that needs his help.
  • Super Mode: His Glamours allow him to channel the legendary knight Wilfrith.

Isaac Paige

A captain who lost his ship in a game of dice before his marriage.


Isabeau Durpan

One of the few genuinely good Montaigne nobles.


  • The Knights Who Say "Squee!": Inspired by the great hero Bastion, she strives to inherit his title from L'Empereur.
  • Lady of War: A warrior for the ways of justice in an otherwise decadent country.

Lorenzo Caravello

A great duelist who has discovered his daughter is talented in magic. A big thing in Castille.


  • Heroes Prefer Swords: Knows two Dueling Styles, one of which can only be used with a fencing weapon.
  • Good Parents: Lorenzo stepped up to take care of his children after he found their mother dying in childbirth.
  • Power Incontinence: His daughter Marienne, which makes Lorenzo very protective of her.
  • Training the Gift of Magic: Lorenzo is looking for a magic teacher for his daughters.

Marrok

The bastard son of a nobleman who was raised by wolves.


Olin Olle Olsen

Heir to a tradition of suicidal bravery.


  • Unreliable Illustrator: The Vesten Raider woman is dressed like a belly dancer. Her story describes her clan as wearing armor to conceal their identities.

Eberhardt Fischer

An Eisen trader with a dark past. His village was destroyed by the Living Wave and he seeks some way to overcome it and avenge them while trading on the marshes.


Indes Volando

A Castillian painter and duelist.


Kaius de Bello

The bastard son of a powerful nobleman.


  • Category Traitor: A nobleman who supports equality in Vodacce.
  • Expy: For Batman as "The Masked Crusader." Except his Bruce Wayne persona is real.
  • Heroic Bastard: Better than the majority of Montaigne noblemen.

Lilly O'Tauma

A young woman exchanged with the fae as a child.


Milo de Villenc

A Montaigne soldier turned explorer.


Reider Ness

A woman born in the town of Kinsvarik who became a shaman.
  • Amazon Chaser: Plans to seduce a Shield maiden Expy of Brunhilde.
  • Horny Vikings: Ticks most of the boxes as he's a super macho killing machine and faithful to the All-Father.
  • I Need a Freaking Drink: Had one of these when he discovered his best friend had converted to Objectionism the day he had his faith in the Allfather confirmed.
  • Real Men Love Jesus: Well, Odin in this case and is annoyed many of their friends don't.
