  • Amnesiac Hero: Averted. Tory actually does remember his family back in the human world.
  • Balloon Belly: Gets one after he gorges on the food Trent gave him.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Tory may be a kid, but even he can fight back when pushed too far.

  • Big Eater: Tory really loves his food.

The Big Brother Figure

An Arcanine who saves Tory from Thor's pack and later takes him in. He becomes Tory's protector until he gets him to Windfall Village. It seems he knows more about Tory than he lets on.

  • The Atoner: He left Windfall Village not just out of exile, but because he felt that an incident from a year prior to the storyline was his fault.
  • Be All My Sins Remembered: He believes he doesn't deserve to go back to Windfall Village due to some even that happened in the past that he felt was his fault, despite it being a freak accident.
  • Big Brother Instinct: Very protective of Tory and is willing to kill Thor to protect him.
  • Dark and Troubled Past: Turns out he was exiled from Windfall Village due to an unfortunate accident.
  • The Exile: Partly due to Ethan, but also a self-exile.
  • Good Scars, Evil Scars: He has a scar going down his right eye and along his right side. He got them both from Ethan.
  • It's All My Fault: He feels at fault for an accident that happened 1 year prior to the story.
  • Jerk with a Heart of Gold: After he saved Tory, he was actually going to leave him, but upon seeing how upset and confused he was, he decides to help him.
  • Mark of Shame: His scars.

The Leader

The Leader of the Gallade Guild, stationed in Windfall Village. He inherited the guild from his late father.

  • At Least I Admit It: He punched Trent when he saw him again at the entrance of Windfall Village, but he admitted it was because of pent-up anger and he was only venting.
  • Big Ego, Hidden Depths: Just because he has a bit of an ego problem doesn't mean he's entirely prideful. There's actually a lot more to him than meets the eye. Turns out he's still in grief over the loss of his sister, Tabitha.
  • Big Good: He is the leader of the Gallade Guild.
  • Disappeared Dad: His father passed away, leaving him in charge of the guild.
  • Fearless Fool: He almost got William's leg bitten off by a Garchomp because of his reckless behavior.
  • Good Feels Good: Played with. Ethan likes to do good deeds and be regarded as a hero...although it does go to his head a bit.
