    As a whole
The Pig Family is an eccentric, chaotic, and unusually large family living in western Peppatown. The family is known for being the epicenter of all the chaos in Peppatown.

    • George Pig: "4369 Pages of the PPFW", "My noisy neighbours", "Dawn of the Users", "George hates High School", "Sleuth of Life", "DRunk"
    • Alex Pig: "The Apocalypse", "Edmond Strikes", "0.6 Feet Underground", "Jetpack Joyriding", "Alex's Archery", "The Winners!", "Qb abg cerff gur ohggba!", "The Deathtrap", "Growing by the Thousands", "The Dam Scam"

The Pig Children

    Peppa Pig
The overly childish and immature main protagonist (though that becomes debatable with time). She is the eldest daughter of Mummy and Daddy Pig (but the third oldest child altogether) and attends Peppatown University, She also may or may not be the timely reincarnation of a prophet but that's a story for the Sequel Series.

  • Big Sister Instinct: She gets very protective of her younger siblings, to the point where she would sacrifice herself to keep them safe.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: Peppa is shown to be extremely immature and lackadaisical, with quite possibly the world's shortest attention span.
  • Coming of Age Story: Peppa begins the series extremely childlike but ends up being very mature and rational, with a child of her own.
  • Genki Girl: Almost as hyperactive as her little sister Jase, who is six, mind you.
  • Girly Girl with a Tomboy Streak: Despite being rather feminine, she shows an interest in more traditionally masculine things, such as comic books and superheroes.
  • Super Gullible: She is frequently tricked by others, whether it be her family, the users, and even some of the villains.
    • Oddly inverted in "The Pumper Frogs come round to eat food", where the usually sensible Willdawg14 seems eager with returning to the Pumper Frogs' lair, whereas Peppa is strongly against returning.

    George Pig
The apathetic, lazy, and occasionally even depressive 14 year-old son of Mummy and Daddy Pig. He is often shown to not care about much of anything and is often the calmest of the group when faced with danger.

  • Brilliant, but Lazy: As the prequel series reveals, he is actually quite intelligent and could actually rival Alex's intellect, but he is simply too lazy to make use of it nowadays.
    • Humorously enough, he gets a job as an archeologist toward the end of the series, but ends up working at Dog's Pizza instead.
  • Deuteragonist: Mainly during the first few episodes. Even after the first season, almost of his major roles came from ensemble episodes with no particular lead.
  • Embarrassing Nickname: The users occasionally call him "Geroge." Later on, his other friends and even his girlfriend adopt this nickname, much to his chagrin. However, after his girlfriend is killed, they retire the nickname permanently.
  • Flanderization: After his role as the straightman was replaced, his laziness and apathetic nature was turned up substantially.
  • Foil: To Peppa, initially. His role as Peppa's foil was later taken over by Alex.
  • Four-Temperament Ensemble: With Peppa, Alex, and Robert, he is the melancholic (introverted and moody).
  • Nice Mean And In Between: Between himself, Peppa, and Alex, he is the "In-Between" as he is rarely ever truly nice or cruel to anybody. He tends to lean more towards nice, though.
  • Only Sane Man: Especially during the first few episodes. His role as the straightman is rather quickly replaced by Robert, however.
  • Running Gag: His hatred of high school. He once got an entire episode based around it ("George hates High School").
  • The Smart Guy: On the rare occasion he puts his mind to it, he can be an incredibly talented scientist and strategist.
  • Street Smart: Unlike Alex's book smarts and Peppa's general unintelligence, George is good with thinking on his feet and getting himself out of trouble.
  • Used to Be a Sweet Kid: George's Adventures shows us that George used to be an excitable, imaginative kid, but over the Time Skip, this changed.

    Alex Pig
The 12 year-old adoptive son of Mummy and Daddy Pig who is a Child Prodigy. He is considered one of the sharpest scientific minds in Peppaland and is known for his ego and wit.

  • Adaptational Jerkass: Although Alex has been used by Sonicthehedgehog223 in some of his other fanon works, this Alex is much more egotistical and arrogant than usual.
  • Artificial Cannibalism: He once ate synthetic bacon in order to win the Peppish Olympics, much to the horror of his brother and fellow competitor, George.
  • Child Prodigy: He is one of, if not the smartest characters in the entire franchise.
  • Commonality Connection: With MatthewSmarter, who is the only member of the main cast to be anywhere near as intelligent as him.
  • Deadpan Snarker: Frequently jokes about other characters due to his self-perceived superiority.
  • Deuteragonist: Usually whenever there's an episode focused on the Pig Family. He replaced George as the deuteragonist after season one, but eventually loses it himself starting with season 8.
  • Foil: To Peppa. His sternness and maturity contrasts Peppa's impulsiveness and goofiness.
  • Jerkass: Downplayed. Although he tends to be rather obnoxious at points, he is rarely ever truly insufferable to be around.
  • Nice Mean And In Between: Between himself, Peppa, and George, Alex is the "Mean" one due to his egotistical nature.
  • Omnidisciplinary Scientist: Unlike MatthewSmarter, who's only good with tech, Alex excels in all fields of science. In the sequel series, he is described as the smartest man to ever live.
  • Only Sane Man: Occasionally played this role, usually whenever George or the users played a minor role, such as "The Apocalypse".
  • The Smart Guy: He is the main cast's personal science guy.

    Jase and Selmo Pig
Two opposite 6 year-old twins who can't seem to stand each other.

  • Foil: To each other. Jase is obedient and tidy, yet not too unlike her older sister, while Selmo is smug and considers himself a "bad boy."
  • Out of Focus: Even during the early seasons where there was plenty of focus on the Pig children trio (Peppa, George, and Alex), Jase and Selmo were rarely given major roles in their adventures.
  • Super Gullible: Despite her maturity, Jase is often tricked by her elder siblings into telling them secrets. Selmo isn't as easy to fool, though.

    Ayyiya Pig
The baby of the family. Only being a year old, she can't talk in full sentences yet, and can barely even walk.

  • The Baby of the Bunch: The youngest by far, as by the time she was born, her four elder brothers had moved out and Peppa was already a legal adult.
  • Baby See, Baby Do: In "Longest Day", the entire episode revolves around her (and Sonic) touching and breaking everything in Willdawg14's house.
  • Baby Talk: All she knows how to speak in.
  • Out of Focus: If you thought Jase and Selmo were this trope, Ayyiya only gets three major roles across the entire show: one is split with every recurring character and another is split with Sonic and Will, meaning she only has one episode to herself.

The Parents

    Daddy Pig
The bumbling, goofy 48 year-old father of the Pig Family. His eldest son (Trevor) isn't actually Mummy Pig's child, but they raised him together all the same.

  • Big Eater: As his large weight implies, he is a heavy eater who will go out of his way to consume as much food as possible.
  • Bumbling Dad: He is a stupid and borderline incompetent father, occasionally even putting his children in danger.
  • Cloudcuckoolander: He appears to have no thoughts in his brain and rarely thinks about anything.
  • Fat Comic Relief: He is often teased for his large weight (although many adults in Peppatown are close to his weight).
  • Foil: To Mummy Pig's rather scrict disciplinarianism.
  • Happily Married: Even in the series finale and sequel series, he and Mummy Pig are still married and loving to one another.
  • Manchild: He often comes off as being less mature than his own sons, George and Alex.
  • Plucky Comic Relief: He is often brought into plots he has nothing to do with for the sole purpose of being funny.

The Users

    As a whole
Users are beings with mythical powers that are designated to protect the universe, but they're usually the ones that put it at risk in the first place.

    Sonicthehedgehog 223
The arrogant, lazy user. He is (obviously) a Sonic fan and spends most of his time playing video games or watching TV.

  • Deadpan Snarker: One of his defining traits.
  • Lazy Bum: Zig-zagged. He is usually devoted to being lazy, but can be very productive when on an adventure.

    Quongus
The lazy, yet temperamental user. He is a gamer and a slob, much like his best friend Sonic, yet Quongus is known as a Sore Loser and has an incredibly short temper.

  • Character Development: In the finale, he has mellowed out considerably, and is ironically the calmest user.
  • Lazy Bum: Not to the same extent as Sonic, but still one nevertheless.
  • Put on a Bus: In "Ozark the Shark," he, along with Ozarcusmapseae and BenTalkingFan128, sail into the sunset at the end of the episode.
