Selmo: "Peppa, why did you drag us into this?"
Peppa: "These are very important matters, and besides, its not like you were doing anything productive anyway."
—The Pumper Frogs come round to eat food
Peppa's Adventures is a fan-written series based off of Peppa Pig and is hosted on the Peppa Pig Fanon Wiki, as well as its own personal wiki. The series was created by user Ozarcusmapseae, and has been written by many other users, mainly Willdawg14 and Sonicthehedgehog223.
Taking place in an alternate universe, Peppa's Adventures follows a 19 year-old Peppa Pig, who is now a university student. She goes on many misadventures with her friends, family, fellow citizens of Peppatown, and mysterious beings known as "users."
The series can be read here.
Provides examples of:
- Aerith and Bob: Some characters have normal names. The most obvious exceptions to this are the users (Sonicthehedgehog223, MrsWhatever40, Willdawg14, etc).
- Cast Herd: Characters are often split up into smaller groups. For example, characters like Ayyiya and Danny don't typically show up in user-focused episodes.
- Childish Older Sibling: Peppa is this to George and Alex, with her being reckless and naive compared to the hyper-intelligent Alex and the often moody George.
- Comic Trio: Peppa is the energetic, childish one, Alex is the rude strategist of the group, and George is the (somewhat) powerless straightman of the trio.
- Cutaway Gag: In "The Broken Computer," the users flashback to the last time they had all been in the same classroom, which results in a reference to South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut.
Sonicthehedgehog223: “NO WAY! Don't you remember what happened LAST time we were all in the same classroom?“
- Death as Comedy: Frequent during earlier seasons, due to their lesser focus on continuity and lore.
- Death Is Cheap: Particularly early on, characters die but never stay dead. Happens especially often to the users.
- Dream Episode: Several, almost always starring Willdawg14.
- Early-Installment Weirdness: The first few seasons were much more mundane and (usually) child friendly, which was slowly changed as the series went on.
- Four-Man Band: The four main users.
- Only Sane Man: MrsWhatever40
- The Smart Guy: MatthewSmarter
- Casanova Wannabe: Willdawg14
- Butt-Monkey: Sonicthehedgehog223
- Insufferable Genius: Alex.
- Interactive Narrator: Usually got into arguments with the users, though George and Alex have also acknowledged his existence.
- Interspecies Romance: Willdawg14 and Autumn Blaze, being a human user and a Kirin respectively. Subverted in the series finale as Will turns into a Kirin himself.
- Limited Wardrobe: Every character wears the exact same clothes (provided they wear clothes at all). Exaggerated as it is stated that everybody in Peppatown has a silent agreement to wear the same clothes for identification purposes.
- Local Hangout: Sonicthehedgehog223's treehouse, although Dog's Pizza also becomes a prominent spot towards the end of the series.
- Meet Your Early-Installment Weirdness: In "A Parade With Bikes In It", the users face characters such as Caden Bute and Robert Rohhole, who were largely abandoned after the early seasons.
- Power Outage Plot: "The Broken Computer" involves the citizens of Peppatown (mainly the users) trying to survive during a power outage.
- Power Trio: Many examples, the main ones being:
- Peppa, George, and Alex
- Sonic, Will, and MatthewSmarter
- Sonic, Will, and Quongus
- BenTalkingFan128, HannelSam, MrsWhatever40
- Running Gag:
- Sonicthehedgehog223 destroying Willdawg14's house.
- George's cartoonish hatred of high school.
- The user's obsession with Town of Salem. Frequently lampshaded, either by the narrator or by the users themselves.
- Rotating Protagonist: One episode could focus on Peppa having fun with her family, then the next could focus on the users causing mischief.
- Each main character (from both the Peppa Pig cast and the users) get at least one episode in the spotlight, with BenTalkingFan128 being the only exception.
- School of No Studying: Despite Peppa being in university and George and Alex being in high school, they are almost never shown studying.
- Self-Insert Fic: Every user is an exaggerated version of their respective writer.
- Spotlight-Stealing Squad: The users (mainly Willdawg14 and Sonicthehedgehog223) slowly gained prominence over the Peppa Pig characters, to where by the eighth season, Peppa herself was a supporting character.
- Story Arc: The last few episodes of season 4 involve Peppa and the users chasing down Mr. Giraffe.
