    Eve Aadams

  • Berserk Button: Seeing nature disrespected/vandalized by people who come to visit the parks, to the point of getting violent with some offenders.
  • Cuteness Proximity: Softens up greatly around cute animals like Pup.
  • Drowning My Sorrows: Eve takes up heavy drinking after Pup's death and leaving the park, possibly trying to drink herself to death, as well.
  • Foil: To Yosemite, being more emotional while the other is logical.
  • Reassigned to Antarctica: Eve is sent to work a remote cabin at Tuolumne Meadows in Yosemite National Park after getting reprimanded and suspended for attacking a camper who was vandalizing the park.
  • Secret Diary: Keeps one she named 'Teddy' that she doesn't let anyone read, though the player gets to see her writings in it at least once an episode.
  • Self-Deprecation: Frequently puts herself down, both as a person and a park ranger, despite any praise others, mainly Jessie, give her.
  • Self-Imposed Exile: After having to put Pup down because of him maiming a young camper, she leaves the cabin, heading out to Death Valley National Park to live out the rest of her life there.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: While still cynical and sarcastic, she does slowly start to show her nicer side at times, such as helping campers who were unprepared, or a lonely older man who just needed someone to talk to, as well as becoming closer to the Park Girls.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Develops this kind of relationship with Yosemite, with a growing respect for each other, as well.

  • Career-Ending Injury: Suffered one to her back in the past when working as a patrol officer in Santa Monica, and needing to take physical therapy. She still has back pain, though, and Eve tells her to get surgery for it, but she refuses since she'd be out for a month, and the park is understaffed as is.
  • Locked Out of the Loop: As of the end of Episode 5. it is never shown or said that Eve told her about the Park Girls.
  • Reasonable Authority Figure: Though she's friends with Eve and wants her to improve herself after vouching for her when the former's suspension ended, she still reprimands her on a few occasions, such as leaving her truck behind and seemingly abandoning her trash collecting duties(Eve had been whisked away to Yellowstone Park and had been there the whole day), and when Pup, who Eve was taking care of despite Jessie warning her not to, attacked and maimed a camper. According to Yosemite in Episode 5, however, she was willing to cover for her and not out Eve as the one keeping Pup in the cabin.
  • Workaholic: Not entirely by choice, as there's not enough staff at the park as there should be due to budget cuts and layoffs, forcing her to add more to her workload, even to the point of working the park library on her day off in Eternal Evergreen Part 1.
  • You Are Better Than You Think You Are: Jessie believes in Eve that she is better than she thinks she is, and vouched for her after the latter's suspension.

    Yosemite

  • Anthropomorphic Personification: Of Yosemite National Park.
  • Bizarre Human Biology: What looks close to 'freckles' on her face feel like gravel or pebbles, according to Eve. She can also squeeze water out of the blue parts of her hair, which weirds Eve out.
  • Bookworm: She is often reading and doing research, attempting to learn more about her and the other Park Girls, as well as why Zion's changed from her older looking self into a younger form, and doesn't seem to remember how she used to be, worrying it'll happen to her and Yellowstone, too.
  • Cordon Bleugh Chef: When she insists on cooking food for a picnic instead of Yellowstone, the latter is nervous about it, but relents, and when Eve asks her if she should be scared of Yosemite's cooking, Yellowstone tells her 'Yes. You should be. We all should be.'
  • Foil: To Eve, being more logical while the other is emotional.
  • Pointy Ears: She's the only one of the Park Girls who has pointy ears; Yellowstone and Zion's are the same shape that humans have.
  • Statuesque Stunner: Said by Eve to be tall, comparing her to a sequoia tree, and that her chin 'about touches her forehead' when standing close to her, and her character portrait is shown to be taller than the former.
  • Team Mom: Acts this way with Yellowstone and Zion. Zion seems to have previously held this role based on what Yosemite remembers about her, but has gradually shrunk into how she looks and acts now, while Yosemite has gotten taller and physically older.
  • Took a Level in Kindness: After being chewed out by Zion for how she treated Yellowstone and didn't show enough appreciation for the work the latter does at the cabin, she makes attempts to both thank her and lighten her workload.
  • Vitriolic Best Buds: Develops this kind of relationship with Eve, with a growing respect for each other, as well.

    Yellowstone

  • Anthropomorphic Personification: Of Yellowstone National Park.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Two times make her literally 'blow her top'. The first is in Happy Trails, where she gets mad at Eve, nearly causing the super volcano in the park to erupt, and again in Daughter of Zion where she gets fed up with Yosemite desperately trying to pressure Zion into remembering a story from when she was younger, and loses her cool to make her knock it off.
  • Bizarre Human Biology: Has a volcano cone on the top of her head, representative of the geysers/volcano in her namesake park. It can blast out water when she's sad, or erupt if she gets really angry, which happens in Happy Trails, nearly causing the actual volcano in Yellowstone Park to erupt until she's calmed down. She also uses it to do laundry, boil water for tea, and store some bagged food (which is kept warm in there somehow, Eve saying it 'felt like it was nuked in the microwave'). She wears a cap when she sleeps and when out in public to hide it.
  • Cuddle Bug: Crawls into bed with Eve the night before the start of Episode 2, Eve finding out after waking up from a nightmare.
  • Dude, Where's My Respect?: Does pretty much all the housework, both before and after meeting Eve, and rarely got a thanks for it from Yosemite. This gets bad enough that she bursts out in happy tears and a geyser bursts just from Eve complimenting her flapjacks, and also causes her to run off, and take Eve with her, in Happy Trails.
  • Older Than They Look: In Happy Trails, she tells Eve that she just 'woke up' in Yellowstone the park several years prior, with Eve doing the math based on how many days Yellowstone remembers and ending up at over at least 30 years, and was alone for most of it. One person she met during that time gave her the clothes she usually wears, and later met up with Yosemite and Zion.
  • Totally Radical: Tends to speak like this, along with a bit of Buffy Speak, such as picking up and happily repeating 'Dope AF' after hearing a camper say it.

    Zion

  • Anthropomorphic Personification: Of Zion National Park.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: After hearing Yosemite constantly belittle Yellowstone for how she's acting near the end of Happy Trails, comparing her seeking validation to a 'temper tantrum', Zion calls the former out for being so mean to her. Zion tells her that though Yellowstone might be 'lashing out', it's because she's sad for feeling like no one appreciates all the work she does, and calls Yosemite a hypocrite for 'telling others to be smart and help others', but not actually doing the same for Yellowstone, only critiquing her, and not telling her how to possibly improve.
  • Bizarre Human Biology: She can apparently 'grow' sticks, possibly out of her head near the leaf crown. According to Yosemite's memories of her, she used to have deer-like antlers growing out of the top of her head
  • Older Than They Look: Daughter of Zion shows memories of Yosemite's from when she was younger where Zion looked more like an adult.
  • Speaks Fluent Animal: Possibly. After comforting a scared rabbit, she says the rabbit told her that it saw Yellowstone in a nearby clearing. When Eve asks if she can talk to animals, Zion tells her 'Don't be silly, Ms. Eve. Animals can't talk', and the subject is dropped after that.
  • Winged Humanoid: Has a pair of white feathered cherub-like wings on her back.

    Pup
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/pup_3.jpg
Voiced by: Syon Santeria
A coyote pup that Eve takes care of, against Jessie's wishes.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Because of Pup getting too comfortable around people from being around Eve and the others, he wanders into a campsite, biting a young girl, which results in the loss of three of her fingers. Eve later has to tearfully put him down because of this, to prevent it from ever happening again.
  • Team Pet: Eve secretly keeps him as a pet in the cabin, despite Jessie warning her not to.

Sailing Stones

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/sailing_stones.png
Voiced by: Syon Santeria
Sentient sailing stones that have been attacking tourists and the cabin Eve and Death Valley have been staying in.
  • Pokémon Speak: At first, they speak like this, only saying 'Ewo', but can actually speak normally.
  • Totally Radical: Speak in the same lingo that Yellowstone uses when not only saying 'Ewo', which allows her to communicate and negotiate with them to stop attacking people.

Cerberus/Dwayne/"Heretic Prince"

https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/cerberusdwayne.png
Voiced by: Syon Santeria
The prince of the Sailing Stones who lives near Death Valley's cabin and doesn't attack people like the others.
  • No Name Given: No actual name, at least, being named 'Cerberus' by Death Valley, renamed 'Dwayne' by Yellowstone and Zion, and only called the Heretic Prince by the other Sailing Stones.
  • Shout-Out: Yellowstone and Zion's name for him being an obvious one to Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson.

King Maivia
