    Iggle Piggle
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/igglepiggle.jpg

Iggle Piggle is the main character of the series. He is a blue humanoid-looking teddy bear who speaks in squeaking noises. He sleeps in a boat and has a red blanket that doubles as the boat's sail.

  • Character Tics: He falls down when worried.
  • Diegetic Soundtrack Usage: His song is sung to the tune of the main theme.
  • Genki Boy: He's one of the most active members of the cast.
  • Informed Species: According to the show's official website, Igglepiggle is a teddy bear. He doesn't look like one, though, and instead resembles a humanoid with a bean-shaped head.
  • Phrase Catcher: When he falls down, the narrator says, "Don't worry, Iggle Piggle".
  • Word Salad Lyrics:
    Yes, my name is Igglepiggle
    Iggle piggle wiggle niggle piggle
    Yes, my name is Igglepiggle
    Iggle piggle wiggle niggle woo!

    Upsy Daisy

Iggle Piggle's best friend, a little ragdoll-type creature. Her interests include flowers and blowing kisses. Pulling the purple cord on her belt will cause her skirt to swell up into a tutu (as shown on her page image), allowing her to dance.

  • Ambiguously Human: She looks like she could almost pass off as human.
  • Cartoon Creature: Her species is unknown, but she looks almost human.
  • Character Tics: She often blows kisses, and when she's surprised her hair sticks up.
  • Genki Girl: Downplayed. She's usually pretty active and enthusiastic, but she still takes naps.
  • Limited Wardrobe: She wears the same shirt, leggings, shoes, and skirt all the time, even to bed.
  • Meaningful Name: Her name has Daisy in it and she likes daisies.
  • Word Salad Lyrics:
    Upsy Daisy, here I come
    I'm the only upsy one
    I'm the only daisy too
    Ipsy upsy daisy doo

A creature who lives in a cave. His main interests include stones, washing things, and washing stones.

  • Cartoon Creature: His species is unknown.
  • Catchphrase: He often says lyrics in his song, like "Ing ang oo!" or "Agga pang!".
  • Neat Freak: He loves to wash things.
  • Word Salad Lyrics:
Makka pakka akka wakka mikka makka moo
Makka pakka appa yakka ikka akka oo
Hum dum agga pang ing ang oo
Makka pakka akka wakka mikka makka moo

From left to right: Ooo, Unn and Eee
Three creatures named Unn, Ooo, and Eee, who like to play music and brush their teeth. They also have pants that fall down a lot.
  • Half-Dressed Cartoon Animal: They wear nothing but pants.
  • Meaningful Name: Apparently, their names are supposed to be based on how a toddler would sound if they counted to three. This fits as there's three of them.
  • Word Salad Lyrics:
Ombliboo tombliboo, knock on the door
Ombliboo tombliboo, sit on the floor
Ombliboo tombliboo, here is my nose
Ombliboo tombliboo, that's how it goes!

A group of giant balloon-like characters.

    The Tittifers
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/tittifers.jpg

A group of birds who sing at bedtime.

  • Amazing Technicolor Wildlife: The Tittifers are live-action birds whose color schemes are changed via CGI to make them much brighter.
  • No Name Given: The individual birds have no names.
  • Phrase Catcher: When they sing, the narrator will say, "The Tittifers have sung their song."
  • Silly Animal Sound: Most of them make noises like musical instruments; only a few make actual bird noises.

    The Wottingers
https://static.tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pub/images/wottingers.jpg

The Pontipines' neighbours, and another family of ten little people.

  • A Day in the Limelight: Along with the Pontipines, they got their own episode called "Oh Look! It's the Wottingers!". Aside from the narrator, the other characters don't even appear for most of the episode.
  • Gender-Equal Ensemble: Five males and five females, including the mom and dad - just like the Pontipines.
  • No Name Given: Like the Pontipines, they lack individual names.
  • Palette Swap: They look exactly the same as the Pontipines, but with blue clothes instead of red.
