Void Familiars

Lady Sheffield

Myoznitnirn

The Mind of God, and familiar to King Joseph de Gallia.
  • Abusive Parents: Her father took her from her mother and raised in a cold enviroment to make her a perfect vessel for his God.

Julio

Windalfr

The Right Hand of God and familiar to Pope Vittorio.
  • The Beastmaster: Being able to control ALO beast-type bosses makes him even more powerful.
  • Punch-Clock Villain: He has no ill will towards the Fae, and seems to sincerely feel bad about their being caught in the middle of all this. But if they are the eggs that have to be broken for the omelet Vitorio is making, such is life.

Heathcliff/The World Seed

Gandalfr

The Left Hand of God and familiar to Louise de la Valliere. His existence is the result of an ill-advised attempt to bind the World Tree by Louise.
  • Artificial Human: He's actually a copy of Heathcliff created by Louise.
  • Remote Body: The copy of Heathcliff is really just a body to be used by Louise's true familiar, The World Seed.
  • The Shrink: Ironically, probably the only person capable of keeping Louise sane, post HalO2.0
  • Walking Spoiler: All of this is blanked out for a reason.

Fae Familiars

Pina

Silica's feathery-dragon familiar.

Halkegenian Mage Familiars

Sylphid

The wind dragon familiar of Tabitha. She is, in fact, a rhyme dragon being presented as a wind dragon to avoid attracting attention.

Verdandi

The mole familiar of Guiche de Gramont.

Robin

The frog familiar of Montmorency Margarita La Fère de Montmorency

D'Artagnan

The manticore familiar of The Heavy Wind, Karin Desiree de la Valliere.

Scirocco (Iruku)

"Eirn Luttece"

Named for a powerful wind experienced by the Kingdom of Romalia, Scirocco is a mature wind dragon, and is Sir Dunwell's loyal familiar. She is often seen at her masters side. Seems to possess a high degree of intelligence and awareness. She is later revealed to in fact be a rhyme dragon, merely posing as a wind dragon, much like Tabitha's Sylphid. Her personality and demeanor suggest that she is considerably older than Sylphid.
  • Blow You Away: Iruku seems to prefer calling upon wind spirits when in battle - she is seen using them to escape a binding trap, to slice apart chains, and to amplify an ally's wind barrier spell during the fight against Fouquet.
  • Hard-Drinking Party Girl: Likes to drink quite a bit, and the narration notes that she does in a manner that is not at all lady-like.
  • The Nose Knows: Being a dragon, her sense of smell is much more sensitive than a human's - even in humanoid disguise. This results in difficulties for Fouquet.
  • Partial Transformation: During her fight with Fouquet, she partially released her humanoid transformation, allowing her to make use of some portions of her true draconic body (her scales, claws, and - for a short moment - partially reverting a whole arm). She only made use of this because the battlefield was too dark for her opponent to clearly tell what she was doing - making it safe to do so without revealing that she's not human.
  • Pride: Views her species, her gender, and herself as generally superior (despite being from a race that's near extinction), and does not take well to moments of failure or being proven wrong. Her pride extends to her humanoid guise as well - Scirocco actively observed humans to determine what traits of human women drew the most desirous attention from men, specifically so she could integrate them into her disguise.
  • Sarcastic Devotee: Is a lot older and wiser than Sylphid. She is also very sarcastict to Dunwell.
  • Sexy Secretary: When she accompanies Dunwell in her human form, she appears to be his stunningly attractive assistant, rather than his familiar.
  • Voluntary Shapeshifting: Iruku can call upon the spirits of the wind to transform into a humanoid guise.
