Villains
Regular Villains
Boogie Villain (ブギーヴィラン)
- The Goomba: They are the most basic enemies you'll fight in the game.
- Mascot Mook: They are so famous to the point of having their own chat sticker and spawning some merchandises (such as plushie toys).
- Was Once a Man: Many of these critters used to be humans. Unfortunately, they can't be changed back or be reasoned with.
Mega Villains
General
- Boss in Mook Clothing: Inverted. The game likes to list these monsters as bosses, but they are hardly a threat even on higher levels. The Elite Mooks usually put a better fight than them, and they are not bosses.
Mega Golem (メガ・ゴーレム)
- Cyber Cyclops: They are robotic golems with a single red eye.
Mega Dragon (メガ・ドラゴン)
- Breath Weapon: Their standard attacking method.
Mega Phantom (メガ・ファントム)
Mega Harpy (メガ・ハーピィ)
- Blindfolded Vision: They wear black blindfolds.
- Shoot the Medic First: They usually try to kill the party's healers first.
Elite Mooks
In General
- Elite Mooks: Each Story Zone has a unique enemy who stands out over normal Villains.
- Underground Monkey: Some of them have elemental variations.

- Adapted Out: They do not appear in the anime.
- Brainwashed and Crazy: They are under the control of Chaos Godmother, and the party is unable to get them back to their senses.

- Adaptational Wimp: The in-game Onis are more than capable to fight. But in the anime, they run for it as soon as they see the coward Momotaro threatening their lives... Despite outnumbering him by seven.
- Gameplay and Story Segregation: The Oni's illustration shows them wielding a spiked club, but in-game they fight bare-handed.
- Savage Spiked Weapons: Their weapon of choice... But only shown in their awtwork.

- Pantsless Males, Fully-Dressed Females: Completely averted, given that Word of God confirmed these creatures are female, and the only thing they wear is a sweater and shoes.

- By the Lights of Their Eyes: Glowing red eyes are seen from their hooded faces.
- Chained by Fashion: They have a lenghth of chain hanging from their necks.
- Shear Menace: They fight using a overly large scissor. The Hellish Barbers are the only characters who use such instruments as weapons.
Nymph
Nymph (仙女)
First appearance: Grimms Notes Story Zone
- Casting a Shadow: Can cast a blast of darkness upon her opponent.
- Flight: They move around by levitating.
- Pauper Patches: They wear a ragged, patched white sleeveless. This is because the nymphs are based on the eponymous characters from "The Fairies" by Charles Perrault, and a fairy from the tale took the form of a poor woman.
- The Smurfette Principle: The only Elite Mook who is no doubt a female character.
