     Champions
Heroes who have come into their own.

Bruce Wayne

Batman was born in a way when Bruce Wayne was eight and his parents were gunned down by a petty criminal. As an adult, he fights crime in Gotham as the Dark Knight.
  • Terror Hero: Goes without saying when you dress as a creature of the night.

Mary Batson

Mary Batson shares her powers with her brother, Billy Batson. They gain their abilities from the wizard Shazam, a suite of superstrength, durability, flight, courage, and wisdom by shouting the wizard's name.

     Apprentices
Sidekicks who still need mentoring.

Bart Allen

A speedster from the future, he is in his own past fighting alongside heroes of legend, and also Robin.

Kara Zor-El

Supergirl was sent away from her homeworld's destruction when she was a teenager and Superman was an infant, but a snag caused her to arrive on Earth when Superman was an adult.

Wally West

     Rogues (A-L)
The bad guys, plain and simple.

Barbara Minerva

An archaeologist who got more than she bargained for when she tried to gain the power of a cheetah goddess. A foe of Wonder Woman.
  • Adventurer Archaeologist: She's never seen in a university/museum setting unless she's stealing from one.
  • Barbie Doll Anatomy: She usually doesn't bother with clothing in Cheetah mode but fur covers everything.
  • Battle Couple: In a non-canon story, she and Carrie Cutter meet up while fighting Giganta.
  • Blessed with Suck: Number three. She is blessed with the power of a cheetah goddess but because she Didn't Read the Fine Print she is in constant pain when not in Cheetah form.
  • Blood Magic: If she's going to become the Cheetah, somebody is going to have to bleed.
  • Cat Girl: In a fashion.
  • Missing Mom: Cheetah killed the mother of her cheetahs, Mosi and Manshika, and took them as her own.
  • Oh, Crap!: When Cheetah realized that Mera's ability to drain liquid meant that she could take the blood used to empower Cheetah turning her human again.
  • Wounded Gazelle Gambit: Ironically enough coming from her. After losing a battle to I, Zombie that she started, Cheetah returned to human form and convinced a human mob that she was attacked by the hero.

Basil Karlo

A shape-shifting actor whose native form is a massive clay-like monster. He is usually a villain of Batman and is one of his rare powered rogues.
  • Master Actor: Pretty much a requirement for a shapeshifter with their salt. It's even an explicit part of his background.
  • Shapeshifter Mode Lock: Feared this during his attempt to catfish Jervis Tetch.
  • Shapeshifting Seducer: A frequent tactic of his. He is well aware of the perils, noting, 'Usually when you did this-impersonate a loved one- there was always the risk that you could be found out.'

Harvey Dent

The former District Attorney of Gotham City, after being disfigured by acid he snapped, becoming the supervillain Two-Face.
  • Badass Normal: Like many of Batman's villains, he has no superpowers, relying entirely on equipment.
  • Companion Cube: He is never willingly without his double-sided coin.
  • Sadistic Choice: He recounted a story where the bad option was him killing a foe where he stood and the merciful option was dropping him in the middle of a rival gang's territory in broad daylight.
  • Tropaholics Anonymous: This sort of group therapy happens in the eponymous thread. It quickly goes south.

Joker

The clown prince of crime, he is Batman's archnemesis and the scourge of Gotham.

     Rogues (M-Z)
The bad guys, plain and simple.

Nasty Luthor

Nasthalthia "Nasty" Luthor is Lex's niece. She is a supervillain who concentrates more on Supergirl. She has the exact winning personality implied by her nickname.
