Kanta Tateishi
- Hidden Depths: Kanta apparently was in the JSDF and is licensed to drive large vehicles, has decent survival skills, at least some notion of English and Italian, and was either a promising athlete, an aspiring comedian, or a very successful student in High School.
- Identical Grandson: In Rika and Narumi's Good Endings, Kanta's grandson looks identical to him.
- Salaryman
- This Loser Is You: A 28 year old that spends most of his free time watching cartoons, playing games and unsuccessfuly trying to woo ladies... someone that the audience can identify with.

Arata Kamatani
- Office Lady
- Single Woman Seeks Good Man: Arata likes it when Kanta is kind, considerate and hard-working. Being boastful, inconsiderate and, generally, a dick, is a good way to lose points with her.
Yuko Shibata
- Chatty Hairdresser: Downplayed: her bio says she's talkative, but doesn't do anything more than polite small talk when servicing Kanta.
Kana Takasago
- Office Lady
- Otaku : Due to her movie obsession, her friends treat her as one, something she really dislikes.
- The Movie Buff: She really, really likes movies, a trait she shares with Kanta. Their date takes them to the cinema.
Hijiri Kokobun
- Office Lady
- The Fashionista: Very interested in fashion, the latest trends, etc. A successful date with her entails going shopping and knowing your way around fashion terms.
Kyoko Tobimatsu
- Mean Boss: Downplayed: Her cold demeanor and exigent personality has Kanta terrified of her. She's actually pretty reasonable, as long as Kanta behaves professionally.
- Office Lady
- Office Romance: Defied. In order to get a Good Ending with her, Kanta has to get transferred to a different department. If he doesn't, their relationship doesn't progress.
- Suggestive Collision: During her route, Kanta crashes into her as she's distracted due to stress. Played with, as it's sort of implied she might have done it on purpose.
Shoko Azuma
- Creepy Cockroach: According to her bio, she doesn't mind most bugs, but she's scared of cockroaches
- Genki Girl: She's energetic and looks for someone as lively as her.
- Office Lady
Rika Oumachi
- Fair Cop
- Canon Immigrant: A weird example. She appears as an one-shot NPC in Night Life Practice, but has a whole route in Day Life Lecture.
- Last Girl Wins: She's the last girl on the roster and she has the longest, most convoluted route, with a Distant Finale epilogue.
- Single Woman Seeks Good Man: Like Arata, Rika wants Kanta to behave like a cheerful, polite person, but one that doesn't let himself be stepped on (She's a cop, after all).
Night Life Practice
Naoko Aoto
- Animal Lover: She's very fond of her chihuahua. Being good with animals gains points with her.
- Blind Date: Kanta meets her at a mixer
- Office Lady
- Single Woman Seeks Good Man: She also wants a kind, reliable boyfriend, with emphasis on "reliable" in her case.
Hiromi Araya
- Blind Date: Kanta meets her at a mixer (a different one)

Moe Akiyama
- Office Lady
- Perpetual Smiler: She sports a permanent cat smile, even when she's confused
- Single Woman Seeks Good Man: Different from the other examples; in her case, she wants a funny guy that can read the atmosphere and also doesn't demean women.
Mei Hikifune
- Go-Getter Girl: Mei is very businesslike. Like Keiko, she will only be interested in Kanta if he conducts himself professionally.

- Office Lady
- Workaholic: When asked about her hobby, she cheerfuly states that she doesn't have one. Apparently, she lives for her job.
Takako Yagiri
- Absence Makes the Heart Go Yonder: She has a boyfriend, but she complains that he spends too much time at work and doesn't pay attention to her. Ultimately subverted, maybe?
- Ambiguous Ending: In her Good Ending, Kanta states they have become good friends, with no mention of a relationship or Takako leaving her boyfriend. However, she does visit his house in the ending, and she does have an ending picture, but it's noticeably tamer than the other girls'.
- New Old Flame
- The One That Got Away: Kanta was in love with her in high school, but a certain incident caused them to drift apart.
Ayame Horikiri
- Buxom Beauty Standard: The most gifted of the girls in this regard, and the one that flaunts it the most.
- Gold Digger: As a hostess, it's in her job description to try to bleed her customers' dry.
- Hooker with a Heart of Gold: While not strictly a hooker, she is a kind of sexual worker, and in the Good Endings she shows that she has her soft side.
- Hard-Drinking Party Girl: Again, part of her job description.
- Hostess Club
Narumi Oshiage
- Arranged Marriage: Narumi's due to marry someone in her hometown, but she has a secret crush on Kanta and wants to get him to confess his love to her. In her Bad End, she goes through with it.
- Final-Exam Boss: While not particularly hard, Narumi's route is very strict with the Love Points you can get so everything needs to go perfectly for you to get a Good End. The game itself presents her route as "your final test".
- Hard-Drinking Party Girl: She downs several strong cocktails without looking any worse for the wear.
- Last Girl Wins: As with Rika, Narumi's ending is the last route of the Night Life Practice and it's longer, more involved and includes a Distant Finale epilogue.
- Office Lady
- Race for Your Love: In the Fission Mailed Ending, Kanta pursues her airplane before it leaves.
