Bad Two Sentence Horror is a Twitter account that showcases bad two-sentence horror stories from the subreddit "r/Two Sentence Horror Stories". This account has became quite popular among Redditors, since the stories it posts are highly memeable and hilarious.

This is not a parody of Two Sentence Horror Stories.


The troper liked to see the examples... but so did the meat worm.

  • Abnormal Allergy: One story is about someone with a frog allergynote  being given an allergy to himself by a ghost girl.
  • Accidental Murder: One story has the police show up to rescue a kidnapped person.. but on the door was a gun rigged to shoot the kidnapped person if opened.
  • The Adjectival Man: A running gag in the short stories is for the villain to have the name"______ Man".
  • A Mind Is a Terrible Thing to Read: One story is about a person who could read minds when making physical contact with someone. When he shakes hands with his future boss, whatever the boss was thinking was so unspeakably vile that he started bleeding from his eyes.
  • Artifact of Doom: One story has the narrator find a $100 dollar bill lying on the ground. He picks it up, and Benjamin Franklin's face starts moving and he says "No gains without pain!"
  • Bad Santa: One story is about a teenager getting a gift from Santa, only to realize the gift was actually from Evil Santa.
  • Bait-and-Switch: One story has the main character come out as bisexual.. meaning they will start killing men alongside women.
  • Banana Peel: Jack and Jill went up the hill, Jack slipped on a banana peel. Jill went crying down the hill, when she found out the morgue had Jack.
  • Creepy Doll: One story is about a mom who makes babushka dolls. She places humans inside of them.
  • Deal with the Devil: One story has the main character make a deal with the devil for reasons unknown, and lets him take his first born son. The devil takes his son in law.
  • Depopulation Bomb: A story has the population going from 2.5 billion (the story is presumed to take place in the 1950s), but it mysteriously goes down to eight. Sarah dies, leaving it at 7.
  • Disproportionate Retribution: A Reddit mod deletes a post from r/twosentencehorrorstories. The person who posted the post proceeds to delete his family.
  • Domestic Abuse: This story Crosses the Line Twice. A man is beating his wife for not being in the kitchen, but realizes his wife is dead. He realizes he was beating some other wife.
  • Eaten Alive: A boy is eaten alive during the night. It's a shame, really, that his dad was too far into his sleepwalk.
  • Evil Me Scares Me: A particularly well-known story by fans is about a guy who doesn't like looking in the mirror, because whatever looked back at them was always the evil version was was them of.
  • Failed a Spot Check:
    • Pretty much any story with the I Ate WHAT?! trope.
    • One story has a husband lifting 425 pounds at the gym. Until realizing he's lifting the bloody dead bodies of his wife and 3 kids.
  • Gunpoint Banter: One story is about someone coming out as gay to his friend. The friend is supportive... but most likely due to the 12 gauge Remington 870 Wingmaster shotgun pointed directly at his prefrontal cortex.
  • Hated by All: One story has the narrator realize he doesn't have social anxiety: everyone just hates him.
  • Horror Hunger: One story has someone's car break down on the side of the road. The driver hadn't eaten dinner yet and was so hungry they ate the first person who came to help.
  • I Ate WHAT?!:
    • One story has a person eat noodles, but realizes they taste funny. They look down and realize they're eating worms.
    • Another story has someone eating their morning cereal, only to realize they were eating teeth and blood.
  • Licking the Blade: One story has someone's wife lick a blade she was going to kill her husband with.
  • Maniac Monkeys: Don't open the monkey closet. If you do, evil monkeys will come out and they will eat you to death and there will be blood.
  • Microwave the Dog: One story is about a kid who thinks his parents will be proud of him for taking care of a puppy all by himself.

  • Murder in the Family: Whenever this trope is used, it's stretched so that the entire family is killed.
  • Not-So-Abandoned Building: There's an abandoned building. Except for a family and a dog and their house.
    • The creator of the story actually made a follow-up to this story, saying that the building also held demons.
  • Offing the Offspring:
    • One story has a couple mourning the loss of their son, who was murdered. Too bad the husband was the impostor.
    • Another has the father feed their son to a wood chipper, then feeding the wife to the wood chipper when she finds out.
  • Organ Theft: One story has a dude casually wake up to find "they" have stolen both of the dude's kidneys.
  • Parental Incest: A Christmas-themed story has someone with a foul taste in their mouth.. They didn't realize Santa's sperm tasted like their father's.
  • "Pop!" Goes the Human: One story has Joel watching the Super Bowl, unaware he's about to explode into chunks of delicious meat in 3 minutes and 52 seconds.
  • Pre-Asskicking One-Liner: You can't kill the devil, Jeremy.
  • Sibling Murder: One story has a brother slice his other brother in half with an axe.
  • Sinister Minister: A priest goes up to a young boy to introduce himself. Little did the young boy know was actually a demon.
  • Rain of Something Unusual: One story has a group of friends at a park, having a good time. Then 128,918,818,199 dead raccoons fell from the sky.
  • Reduced to Ratburgers: One story mentions the existence of stomach rats.
  • Rule of Scary: Some of the people writing these stories think that if they use horror tropes, that'll make them scary.
  • Running Gag: Creatures. They get used to produce a drink of some sort, and usually reside in the basement. Though some creatures appear to be sophisticated, as one has a PhD in psychology while another one works as a chef.
  • Tailfin Walking: One story has fish swim out of a lake and start to walk on land, presumably with their tail fins.
  • Talking Animal: One story has a dog Suddenly Speaking because he needs to talk. They don't have much time, for He gets here soon.
  • Unknown Character: Mr. Teeth. We still don't know much about him, other than he has teeth.
  • Weird Sun: According to one story, the sun comes from a creature in a random dude's backyard.
  • What Could Possibly Go Wrong?: An urban planner says this as he creates an elevated sewage lake.
  • Wood Chipper of Doom: There's a story about a person who put his wife and son inside a wood chipper.
