  • Winning the 1st season of WWE NXT.
    • Not just winning, but when the eliminated contestants were asked who they thought would win out of Wade and Otunga, the response was a total of 6 votes for Wade.
    • His talk showdown against David Otunga at the end of the season.
  • Leading the Nexus, probably the most iconic stable in years.
  • His return to form during the 2nd half of 2011. He took out Randy Orton by the end of the year.
  • Getting the WWE to let him be billed from his actual hometown.
  • His feud with Kofi Kingston has been a CMOA for both of them. Barrett's won the Intercontinental title and established himself as a legitimate top threat again. Kofi's shown shades of returning to the guy that once beat down Randy Orton and Boom Dropped him through an announce table.
    • And in one match, Wade won when he caught Kofi in mid-air with the Bull Hammer as Kofi was about to finish him off.
  • On the 20th Anniversary of Raw (January 14, 2013), Wade went one on one with Randy Orton once more, and again managed to take the win. What makes it awesome is how he did it. No cheating or anything, he just countered the RKO by shoving Orton into the corner mid jump before caving his face in with the Bull Hammer.
  • On the April 8, 2013 Episode of Raw, Wade had one of the best moments of his career. Coming off a quick and humbling loss of his Intercontinental Title to the Miz the previous night on the Wrestlemania Pre-Show, Wade decided to use his return match clause all champions are granted. Now, the normal success rate of these matches being used the next night is pathetically low. Usually it's just done to grant the new champion more momentum moving onto new feuds. This night would be different, and it was from the start, thanks to the crowd. The crowd was on throughout the night and did not give a damn about who the WWE wanted the people to like. The Miz was not well liked in the crowd and Barrett got amazing cheers. Let's Go Barrett chants rang throughout the match. In the end, in a stunning upset, Barrett lands the Bull Hammer Elbow and regains his Intercontinental Title after one night without it. And the crowd erupted in cheers. This is the biggest reaction Wade has gotten in his career. The Miz also deserves some credit as both men put on a great match that completely eclipsed their effort at Mania. If even for one night, Barrett got to bathe in the delight of a championship celebration with the crowd, and the Intercontinental Title got seeds of relevancy back.
  • Wade's feud-ending match with Bo Dallas on the nXt Clash of the Champions on April 24, 2013. Great match that went back and forth, making Bo look strong as all hell while putting Wade over, and ending with a Bullhammer on a jumping Bo Dallas.
  • Barrett's In Ring return after Wrestlemania XXX, was met with an ovation. If you didn't know any better, Rey Mysterio Jr. was the heel and Barrett was the beloved face in the match.
  • This dark segment at the end of a London RAW in 2014. Barrett and Adam Rose have a back and forth with Triple H, and eventually Barrett nails HHH with the Bull Hammer, dropping him like a bag of shit as the crowd loses it. If this had happened on the air, Wade Barrett would have been a top babyface for YEARS.
  • Barrett defeating Big E. Langston for his fourth Intercontinental title in a very good match that ended with Barrett taking out the big man with a running Bull Hammer.
  • The story of how he got his scar. Not even taking an eight-inch blade to the back can put Barrett down.
  • Any time he faces Sheamus. The two have chemistry.
  • All hail Bad News Barrett, your 2015 King of the Ring.
  • His appearance on guest commentary at WCPW No Regrets. As well as being a genuinely entertaining and very knowledgeable colour commentator, he hugged it out with his old friend Cody Rhodes and gave a Bullhammer to Zack Gibson after he was eliminated from the 30 man WCPW Championship Rumble.
    • After the name change to Defiant Wrestling, he became the new General Manager. His first act as such? Sign Austin Aries. Little did he know that this would be the beginning of his problems.
    • What did he do to finish the IPW invasion? Get resident babyface Wrestling Monster Rampage (formerly Bad News Brown) onto Team Defiant, who scored the winning pin on Mark Haskins at Defiant Chain Reaction.
    • The defiant episode after Chain Reaction, Team IPW is about to start the infighting between Aries and the rest of the IPW team. What does Stu do? Offer contracts to everyone, recognizing that, for all of his hatred towards them, they have talent, something "any GM can't get enough of". Cue Aussie Open and Mark Haskins joining the Defiant roster definitely.
