• For many people, watching a medical insurance executive being put through the wringer (to say the least) was cathartic.
• William managing to fight off his lawyer Debbie (who was attacking him with a rotary saw in an attempt to save herself even though he was making his own attempt to save her) long enough for a speargun from her harness to activate which ends up killing her.
• When Josh's turn comes round on the Shotgun Carousel, he knows he's about to die, but before he's taken out with a blast to the chest, he goes out with a wonderfully vengeful and angry Final Speech.
  "Aw, well that's it, isn't it? It's over. You motherfucker! You spineless, pussy-whipped motherfucker! That's all it takes, eh? A bitch says one thing and it's all over! You know what William? Your policy is bullshit! Fucking bullshit! Well you listen to me, you son of a bitch. I did everything for you. Look at me! When you're killing me, you look at me!"
• Brent, when he takes matters into his own hands after his mother decides not to kill William. Whether or not it was justifiable is subjective, but it's hard to deny that his total lack of uncertainty or hesitation took balls.
  Brent: You killed my father, you motherfucker! Now you burn in hell!
• Hoffman's escape from the Reverse Bear Trap 2.0, with seemingly no method of survival. "Will to live" doesn't really do it justice.
  • First, he mangles his left hand with the "teeth" of the trap, to break it and let it escape the restraints in the fashion that Eric Matthews had done on his foot (albeit not as brutally as that instance). Then he uses that hand to free his right and tries to pick the lock with a screwdriver, but it doesn't work. So, with seconds left, he jams the jaws of the trap into two bars on the door window to prevent it from fully opening, and manages to pull it out of his mouth, albeit suffering a serious tear to his right cheek.
  • What makes this especially awesome is that a vocal majority of the fandom was clamouring for Hoffman to be put in the Reverse Bear Trap to die at the time, but Hoffman's improvised method of survival gained him a squadron of fans.
• Simone correctly pointing out that Jigsaw's methods don't actually teach the victims anything, no matter what he or his apprentices claim. Bonus points to her saying this to Hoffman.
  Simone: He wanted us to learn...
  Hoffman: And did you?
  Simone: ...Look at me. Look at my goddamn arm! What the FUCK am I supposed to learn from THIS, huh?!
