  • Jigsaw asking Eric for a glass of water. The delivery is just brilliant.
  • The absolute Nerves of Steel Obi has when being threatened: Xavier has a knife to Obi's throat after learning that he helped kidnap them and is loudly and angrily ordering him to enter one of the traps to retrieve two antidotes. Obi doesn't so much as flinch during this whole ordeal, and he calmly reaches up, takes hold of the blade of Xavier's knife, and - still without flinching - drags it across his own throat to draw a bit of blood.
Obi: If you're gonna threaten me with a knife, might as well cut me a little.
  • Xavier cutting off the back of his own neck skin to get his number to the safe combination. Sure, the guy is an unlikable jerkass, but you cannot deny that he absolutely had the will to survive. If Jigsaw was watching, he must have been impressed!
  • After Xavier throws her into the Needle Pit trap, Amanda quickly gets over her shock and manages to grab the key. Bonus points for the shots of everyone else standing around and looking at her with a mix of fear and revulsion.
    • After watching the ending, it is clear that Xavier doing this earned him his Laser-Guided Karma.
  • Jonas may not have much going for him physically, being the oldest victim in the house, but he does put up a good fight against Xavier before he dies.
  • After seeing Jigsaw walk away from all his actions at the end of the first film, seeing Eric give him a damn good beating was satisfying.
  • Daniel being the one to kill Xavier at the end by slashing his throat when he attempted to kill Amanda. Daniel hasn't done much for the film, but him taking down the literal biggest threat (especially with Daniel himself being a teenager and Xavier being an adult) was as awesome as it was cathartic.
  • On Amanda's tape to Eric at the end, we find out that she too was a victim of Eric's corrupt "justice". Hearing her deliver an utterly verbal beating towards Eric Matthews is extremely cathartic, to say the least.
Amanda: Hello, Eric. You probably don't remember me, but you changed my life once. You sent me to prison. I was guilty of a lot of things. But not the drug charge you framed me for.
  • Frankly, the reveal that Amanda is Jigsaw's apprentice is amazing as a whole. While nothing is likely to top the first film's twist ending in terms of shock value, Saw II's is right up there with it for other aspects, and it's often in the number two or three spot on multiple "Best of the SAW films" lists (and even considered better than the first film's by some) because the twists it involves are very logical and strong. Since Amanda is presented for most of the film as the Nerve Gas House's Final Girl (albeit a The Snark Knight version of one), it's an absolute stunner when the curtain is thrown back to reveal that Amanda helped the entire plan we've seen transpire succeed. Her "game over" as she slams the door shut to leave Eric in darkness as he screams obscenities at her is as strong as Adam's anguished cries when John did the same to him in the film before.
