Being a crossover between Doom (2016) and RWBY, there's no shortage of awesome moments to be found in Remnant Inferis: DOOM.
Warning! In accordance with Wiki policy, all Spoilers will be left unmarked.
- In Chapter 1, the Slayer kills multiple armed White Fang members before even putting on his armor or regaining his weapons, showing how he doesn't need his tools to kick ass.
- To his credit, Marlowe did manage to damage part of the Praetor Suit in his brief fight against the Slayer before having his genitals cut off.
- Slayer vs. Adam in Chapter 2 is a pretty even match, with Adam's Semblance even allowing him to superficially damage parts of the Praetor suit. It's mainly thanks to VEGA's intervention that the Slayer's able to get the upper hand.
- When the Slayer fought Winter, they ended up being surrounded by Grimm, only for the Grimm to hesitate when they confront the Slayer. Yes, these soulless monsters that are attracted to the fear and negativity of others are actually afraid of facing someone for the first time in their existence. Even Winter is shocked at this, having believed it to be impossible for a Grimm to feel fear.
- The Slayer and Ruby's Back-to-Back Badasses moment in Chapter 3, where they kill an entire horde of Grimm together.
- At Chapter 4, Blake managed to use her superior speed and Semblance against the Slayer, even cracking his visor before being interrupted by a possessed woman.
- During the Grimm's invasion of Vale, Team CFVY, the Slayer, Glynda, Ruby, and Yang defeat most of the invasion force by themselves, which included a scene of the Slayer suplexing an enormous Beringel, a feat that impressed even Yang.
- The Slayer stepping into a flaming airship that could explode at any moment to save anyone that could be alive inside, rescuing Weiss from a possessed huntsman.
- The heroes, including Jaune, who has no Aura or Semblance, fight against the undead horde with some support from the Marines, which leads to a "boss fight" against the possessed huntsman, Reinhold Schwarz, that was way stronger than the rest thanks to his aura still being active. The Slayer manages to win the fight by ripping out Reinhold's heart. Keep in mind, he's doing this while on the verge of collapsing due to a blood infection.
- While it's quickly undone, Reinhold had enough willpower to briefly overcome his possession, which is no small feat in and of itself.
- Winter ordered the Slayer to surrender to Atlas, but all his new companions stepped in, even Weiss. It takes some pretty big balls to step up and tell the strongest military force on Remnant - while exhausted from fighting an invasion, mind you - to shove off.
- Ozpin matched the Slayer in a fight. What we know is that he face-planted him hard enough to bruise him even with his helmet on and threw him through two pillars. Quite the badass feat for the old wizard.
- Despite the fight being a stalemate, the Slayer technically won since their deal was that if he landed a hit, he'd be allowed free reign over where he could go. On top of that, he gave Ozpin such a beating that the headmaster of Beacon doesn't believe he'd be able to stop the Slayer if he chose to oppose them.
- The Slayer intervenes when he sees Cardin bullying Velvet and then calls out the entire student body and Glynda for doing nothing to help. They have no means of refuting his accusations and are all left completely embarrassed and humiliated.
- Team CRDL then tries to get back at the Slayer by taking him on without his Praetor suit, believing that with no Aura or Semblance to compensate it'll be an easy win for them. In short, it ended up being an easy win for the Slayer instead, and the gang of bullies was left bedridden with serious injuries for days afterward.
- In Chapter 19, the Slayer purposely fell into a trap and fought Neo and Mercury almost at the same time, only being stopped after being hit with Trifa's webs, ten-thousand volts of stun rifle, enough tranquilizers to paralyze a Goliath and repeated kicks in the face from Mercury. All of this only knocked him out for a split-second, before letting them get close enough so that he could brutally defeat them in short order.
- The fight between the Doom Slayer and Cinder and her associates is all kinds of badass. To count the ways:
- Cinder is, according to the Slayer, "almost as strong as Ozpin" with only half of a Maiden's Power, her magical fire hot enough to overheat his hell-forged armor. It goes to show that even half a Maiden is still a force to be reckoned with.
- Despite that above fact, however, he still completely demolishes Cinder and her crew with brutal efficiency: he tears off Mercury's robotic leg and beats him bloody with it, punches Emerald in the face so hard her eye explodes, and detonates an entire warehouse full of Dust with Cinder inside after he's already wrecked her shit one-on-one. If Cinder didn't call Salem for help at the last moment she would be dead for sure, and now she fears the Slayer more than she does the Mistress of Grimm herself.
- Salem attempts to Mind Rape him into being her obedient slave, but the tables turn on her when she looks into his memories and is horrified beyond belief by what she discovers. After winding up trapped in his mind, she's now fully aware of who the Doom Slayer is, what he's capable of, and is scared to death of him.
- After breaking free of Salem's restraints, he takes on both Cinder and Adam at once, kicks their asses again, and is only prevented from finishing them off for good by the untimely arrival of Marcus Black.
- To put it into perspective, William almost single-handedly thwarts Salem's plan to destroy Beacon Academy and overwhelm Vale with Grimm just by being the relentless motherfucker he's always been. Through his interference, Cinder and her underlings flee from Vale just to survive, Adam loses everything (his followers, Semblance, rank, and left testicle), Roman and Neo are now working for Ironwood, and Salem doesn't want to be anywhere near him.
- Marcus Black managed to evenly match Qrow after turning the Unmaker into a laser sword, disabled the Slayer enough for him to be thrown into the sea and hold out against Qrow, the Slayer, Hazel, and Ozpin at the same time.
- Villainous example, but the Marauder kicks all kinds of ass against Team RWBY and the Slayer. He easily tears the girls apart and gives the Slayer such a hard time that the greatest bane of Hell decides that avoiding him is the better option.
- In fact, the Marauder got up after his neck was broken, and, after being hit by shrapnel and getting run over by an APC, he caught up to the protagonists with a Bullhead, from which he jumped off while on fire, not caring about the flames. Talk about Evil Is Cool.
- In the rewritten version of his fight with Blake and Yang, he gives them one Hell of a Pre-Asskicking One-Liner.Yang: Oh...
Blake: Gods...
Marauder:...gods? (sinister chuckle) You will find none here.
- Remember that scene in Doom Eternal where the Slayer launches himself out of a canon to get to his destination? Well Ruby decided to take a few pages out of his book and launches herself to the top of the fortress wall by using Crescent Rose's blade to catch a cannon shell mid-flight and hitch a ride on the damn thing! She may be losing her mind, but Hell if she ain't getting more increasingly awesome along the way.
- Ruby awakening her Silver-Eyes and blasting the Master of Erebus with a glorious beam of holy light, leaving it with nearly all its flesh burnt off. The Slayer proceeds to smash a giant stone into its face and then both slit its throat open and slice into its head with his chainsaw.
- Giving the Master of Erebus credit, it does a remarkably good job keeping Team RWBY and the Slayer at bay. It even pins the Slayer down on a massive piece of flooring, blasts Ruby with enough demonic energy to shatter her Aura and destroy her armor, and nearly crushed Yang to death. The main reason none of them died was that Ruby awakened her Silver-Eyes. That's how tough a Shadow Lord of Hell is.
- The Slayer retrieving the Relic of Destruction, which is a Holy BFS, and going to town on the demons with it.
- While it's Played for Laughs, Neo did catch Winter, one of Atlas' greatest Specialists, off-guard and knock her out. She even managed to disguise herself as the Specialist so well that no one but Ozpin knew who she truly was.
- Patch has been suffering a lot of berserk Grimm attacks thanks to the demonic invasions causing them to go out of control. Taiyang and Zwei have been defending their home all by themselves this entire time.
- After being teleported into a SDC holding facility by Dr. Watts, the Slayer fights his way out, slaughtering all the guards and other personnel in his path, rescues VEGA, and then discovers where they've been keeping all of his stolen weapons, save for the BFG. Now he's even more dangerous than before, and with Team SSSN and the White Fang having joined forces with him, at least temporarily, he's ready to take the fight to Jacques and Merlot.
- Merlot reveals that he's played everyone for a fool, including Deag Nilox and Hell. After his true colors are revealed, he leaves Jacques to his fate, gloats to the Slayer the truth about Argent D'Nur, and abandons Nilox in the facility to face the Slayer. This left the Hell Priest having a pretty satisfying Villainous Breakdown.
- Got to give Nilox some credit, he does a decent job holding the Slayer and Ruby at bay. It's not much and he's overwhelmed at the end, but compared to Eternal, where he was unceremoniously killed at the start, it's a major step up.
- Nilox also tries to break Ruby by pointing out how disappointed her mother would be in what she's becoming. Ruby's response? A simple but effective Shut Up, Hannibal! that promptly shuts him up.Nilox: Wouldn't your mother be so sad if she knew her little girl grew up to become such a monster? You would follow the Beast into her grave. Instead, however, I will hall you before the chaos throne of the Dark Lord himself-
Ruby (Completely calm): Shut up.
- Nilox also tries to break Ruby by pointing out how disappointed her mother would be in what she's becoming. Ruby's response? A simple but effective Shut Up, Hannibal! that promptly shuts him up.
- How the Slayer and his allies finally kill the Marauder. Weiss uses her glyph to impale the Marauder with an ice pillar and hold him in place while the Slayer takes his battle axe and decapitates him, finishing him off for good.
- Weiss calling out Jacques in Chapter 30. After everything she's been through, she makes it absolutely clear that she's focusing on fighting Hell now and if he even tries to stop her in any way...well, she looks to the Slayer and tells her father to "use [his] imagination."
- Blake standing up to Sienna and Ilia and calling out their entitled behavior in Chapter 31, pointing out how they aren't much better than Adam, despite being the lesser evil. While a little scary, given how she tries to gouge Ilia's eyes out in a fit of blind rage, her threatening both Sienna and Ilia should harm come to any of her loved ones is still an awesome moment much like Weiss' above moment.
- The Doom Slayer and VEGA managing to talk down the Brother Gods from doing anything to Remnant. And this is after the Slayer used the Sword of Destruction to cut off one of Darkness' horns.
- Hell, before this, the Doom Slayer was able to fight off and even hurt the Brother Gods. The two physical gods who initially created Remnant (one of whom is responsible for wiping out all life on it), and the Slayer contended with both of them. Even Qrow is left in awe of this. Granted, it's somewhat lessened by the fact that the gods were weakened from getting drained by the Pain Engine, but it's still pretty epic.
- The battle between the combined forces of the Slayer, Qrow, and Ace Ops against Marv Talg manages to be pretty epic, especially with how much effort it took all of them to finally put Marv down.
- Clover manages to trip up Marv in the fight using Kingfisher to let his allies get many hits in and even does so to multiple demons throughout the entire trip to Epsilon Authority. It's especially cool given that Marv dismissed Kingfisher as a stupid weapon, but Clover proves its usefulness at every turn.
- To top it off, as the final scene of Chapter 35 reveals, Marv survives all of this!
- A villainous example with Arthur Watts. Turns out, he was the one who teleported the Slayer outside of his cell and wanted him to destroy Epsilon just to spite Ironwood and cripple the four kingdoms, and the Slayer did just that, all without knowing he was helping Salem's side. At the end of the arc, Watts is the only character to have unanimously and unambiguously won.
