Part Two: Revenge of the Clones (you'll see why)

Several things happened when we last left off Kirby and his friends. Kirby met Twink and Blue, and had the first two of many pointless battles which will happen. Now, I was reading the description to part two, and it looks like even the animator knows it's strange to use claymation in PAPER Kirby. Now where were we?

Chapter one out of ??, part two out of six.

We start the video with the lame intro, which I'm skipping, let's just get to the "good" part. Also, by "good", I mean very awful.

Kirby and Blue are still walking, when they arrive in the Sprite Kingdom (which, by the way, is still a White Void Room due to our Lazy Artist being very lazy). Twink explains to Kirby more of the so-called game, creating more of this extensive and pointless tutorial which I am skipping.

Wait, 54 seconds in the video, and something new happens! Kirby get's a Copy Ability, which in this case is Fighter Kirby. After that, there is even MORE of the pointless tutorial.

THIRTY SECONDS later, Kirby and Blue go underground, when all of a sudden Twink is seen right in front of him. Even Kirby is confused. Turns out this Twink is fake, as the real and angry Twink explains that this one is fake. What a surprise. Cue another battle.

Very similar battle, once again, only this time, our foe keeps Shapeshifting, from Twink to Blue, and finally Kirby. It is lampshaded after the battle like so.

Blue: (subtitles) That was... strange...

Anyways, we gain Kirby's signature ability to inhale. Yay? I just can't believe that due to all of this pointless filler, I have already liveblogged half of this part in such a short amount of time. Kirby gets a HUGE star to use to grow extra large, just like in Super Paper Mario. Kirby grows by being drawn on a whiteboard. The animation used for this scene is ironically similar to the scene from Dedede: Comin' at Ya which Kirby himself animated. It makes me wonder if Kirby animated this himself as well. And why is the star music from Super Mario Bros. being used instead of this! Anyway, Kirby gains the Sword ability because Heroes Prefer Swords.

Kirby and Blue move on to the next White Void Room, where Green challenges them to a battle, describing them as the losers they are. Of course, Kirby accepts.

Ear Rape music starts playing as the battle starts. This battle mostly consists of Green spewing random enemies from Super Mario Bros. out of his (rigged) pipe. But who cares about that, just seeing Green again pleases me, because he is this video's only redeeming factor. Also, this battle lasts one and a half minutes. Kirby still wins.

Cue Green's second We Will Meet Again speech. The first rescued star kid is left behind by Green, which is orange, despite the fact that in Paper Mario 64, all of the Star Kids were yellow. The two star kids do a Happy Dance, also with Ear Rape music, followed by text which says YOU SAVED A STAR KID! After that, the video abruptly ends. At least the video is over.

What will happen after that abrupt ending? Find out next time!
