* AntiClimaxBoss: In the third movie the brothers beat their way past [[TheDragon JJ]] and several other goons with practically no difficulty at the end although its arguably a JustifiedTrope. These are goons they've already beaten up several times and the suspense is less about the fight than getting into the courthouse in time to let the witness on the stands know his kidnapped daughter is safe and he can tell the truth. It's also justified due to being the only movie in the series were none of their opponents are trained martial artists (with thenpossible exception of a random biker -a short guy in a bandanna- who matches Colt move for move briefly in the middle of the ghost town fight-but just thugs with fists baseball bats, rifle buts (although there are a ''lot'' of those thugs).

The whole thing probably lasts less than a minute. This is arguably a JustifiedTrope. JustifiedTrope though. * MemeticMutation: Rocky loves Emily.
* NeverLiveItDown: The third movie is often viewed as having good fight scenes and somewhat interesting characters but a lot of criticism or ridicule comes from how a long break in filming caused the actors playing the boys to grow taller between scenes (although it's easy to overlook in the middle of the action scenes).

* CompleteMonster: Jack Harding in the third movie is an utterly irredeemable creep. He throws around bribes to the mayor and chief police with a smug sense of entitlement. He's dumping illegal toxic waste near a Native American reservation, which is explicitly said to have killed people. He has protestors viciously beaten the second the news crews are out of sight. He abducts a man who has proof and starves him for several days trying to force him to hand over incriminating evidence. And on the verge of the trial set to expose him he kidnaps a pre-teen girl and gleefully threatens her in an effort to make her father perjure himself on the stands.

Yet the boys quickly dispatch him with a blast of steam and pulling his pants down, without even a temporary fight.

* FunnyAneurysmMoment: In the original film, when the titular ninjas were returning home from their summer break with their grandfather, they joked about murdering their teacher, though they never made any indication that they would actually do it. * GuiltyPleasures: Many tropers will admit to loving this film when they were younger (as well as SurfNinjas). Nowadays, it must be classified as SoBadItsGood for how thoroughly over-the-top, cliched and [[TheNineties Nineties]] it is.
