* CompleteMonster: [[DragonInChief Hades Wise God Dagon]], leader of the [[JerkassGods Infershia Pantheon of Hades Gods]], is dedicated to the revival of the Dark God [[GreaterScopeVillain N Ma]]. Adhering to the Dark Precepts, Dagon shows no regret in executing his fellow God Ifrit when [[YouHaveFailedMe Ifrit fails to defeat the Magirangers within a time limit]]. Dagon soon shows his true colors by cheating, and when the good-hearted Hades God Titan attempts to seal away N Ma within himself, Dagon ambushes and kills him, releasing N Ma to devour Magitopia, earth and even Infershia as well. Betraying and attempting to kill his honorable companion Sphinx, Dagon later rejects her offer to ally with the humans, claiming all he desires is destruction and to see "the ultimate nightmare."

* MemeticSexGod: Hikaru can and will seduce your LoveInterest from you, right in front of you, with a simple flick of his hair.

* EvilIsSexy: Vancuria, Queen Vampire, can split into [[NonIdenticalTwins Twin]] [[ElegantGothicLolita Loli Goths.]]

* CompleteMonster: N Ma's minion, the [[GodOfEvil Hades God]] [[CyberCyclops Cyc]][[ColdSniper lops]]. After a brief skirmish with the Magirangers, he vanishes and begins firing upon them from multiple directions at once, deliberately stringing them along into thinking they've figured out how to escape his bullets, only to take one of them down. When he takes down [[TheHeart Urara]], [[TheLancer Tsubasa]] experiences a [[HeroicBSOD total nervous breakdown]], and Cyclops simply exclaims that there's no greater pleasure than watching someone's mind break. [[spoiler:Seeing Tsubasa beat him at his own game [[AwesomeMoment is one of the most cathartic moments in all of sentai]].]]

* CompleteMonster:
** Absolute God N Ma is a [[EldritchAbomination dark being described as being made of nightmares and hunger]]. Even when reduced to a giant eye in a window, he still wields undeniable authority over his minions, and once he does [[FromBadToWorse emerge...]][[spoiler:He rips his way out of the body of a follower who'd turned good and was trying to prevent his rebirth, attacked and destroyed [[FluffyCloudHeaven Magitopia in a matter of minutes]], [[HeroKiller killed both Blagel and Sungel before dropping their corpses down before the Magirangers]], and [[HorrorHunger started consuming time itself]] [[PlanetEater to reduce the Earth to a barren, lifeless husk.]]]] Oh, and there's also the part where he forcibly [[MindControl brainwashed]] Magitopia's greatest hero into becoming his most loyal servant.
** Then there's his minion, the [[GodOfEvil Hades God]] [[CyberCyclops Cyc]][[ColdSniper lops]]. ** Hades God Dagon, a ManipulativeBastard that lies to his own subordinates and cares about nothing but reviving N. Ma and says he trusts only N. Ma and himself.

* {{Anvilicious}}: This is not a show that believes in subtlety.

* WhatDoYouMeanItsForKids: For a series revolving around a heartwarming "Family" theme, [=MagiRanger=] can be pretty dark when it comes to human casualities; victims are killed off in ways as {{NightmareFuel}}-ish as possible[[hottip:*: As much as a general-audience show can allow, for the very least.]], and after they die, ''they stay dead''.

The core cast would later appear in ChouNinjaTaiInazuma, a SuperSentai parody set in the JidaiGeki period with our heroes being magically empowered ninjas.
