It's not been shown whether other mixes exist, such as human/spirit or demon/spirit.

The Poker Gang are quadruplets, named after their respective [[PlayingCardMotifs card suits]] [[BilingualBonus in French]]. While we don't know Yokoka's [[NameAmnesia pre-amnesia name]], judging from the Moon Clan's pattern of [[StellarName naming after stars]], it's likely that she's named after a star in the Orion {{constellation|s}} like her twin brother Mao (Meissa).

The story separately follows [[HalfHumanHybrid Half-Human]] [[OurDemonsAreDifferent Half-Demon]] CatGirl Yokoka discovering the larger world for the first time, and her broody twin brother Mao, in a [[TwoLinesNoWaiting dual-perspective story]]. While there is plenty of {{foreshadowing}} of a [[GambitPileup bigger overarching plot]], the titular character has [[IdiotHero yet to become aware of it]].

* LessonsInSophistication: Grace dresses up Yokoka for Clyde and Blinky's [[WeddingDay wedding]], as Yokoka has no idea how to dress for a wedding, what a wedding even is, or even basic grooming skills like how to brush her hair.

* ManlyTears: Pinky cries at Clyde and Blinky's [[WeddingDay wedding]].

* TomboyAndGirlyGirl: As the tomboy of the party, Yokoka wears [[PajamaCladHero whatever pants]] [[MartialArtsUniform and shirt]] she's given, has no accessories beyong her [[MorphWeapon ribbon weapon]], and does nothing with her hair. She [[BloodKnight likes to fight]], though she does also [[TomboyWithAGirlyStreak like to hug]]. In contrast as the girly girl, Grace wears makeup and skirts, accessorizes with a handbag, bracelet, and a variety of earrings, styles her hair in multiple ways, and is happy [[LessonsInSophistication to help Yokoka with her attire and hair]] for a [[WeddingDay wedding]]. Grace has shown no interest in fighting, and would rather [[ConstantlyCurious learn about the world of Cisum]].

* WeddingDay: Yokoka meets Yin in the underground village, who just happens to be there [[https://yokokasquest.com/comic/chapter-6-pages-24/ to take measurements]] for Blinky's [[FairytaleWeddingDress dress]], for her wedding to Clyde [[note]](Yin is also shown making the dress in a SideStoryBonusArt wallpaper)[[/note]]. Yokoka, Yfa, and Grace are invited to attend their wedding after staying in the village for a while, and Grace [[LessonsInSophistication has to dress Yokoka and teach her how weddings work]] beforehand. This is due to having limited capacity for magic - at the end of each chapter is an RPG-style status screen which shows the [[ManaMeter MP gauges]] of Yokoka's and Mao's parties.

* GlamourFailure: Copycat always [[MorphicResonance retains his purple eyes]] when copying another person's appearance. Mao [[https://yokokasquest.com/comic/chapter-5-page-20/ recognized who Copycat was]] from his purple eyes, and [[https://yokokasquest.com/comic/chapter-5-page-42/ identified that someone wasn't Copycat]] (who Copycat had previously copied) from his lack of purple eyes.

** Spirit: [[SiblingYinYang Yin, Yang]], and the four members of the Poker Gang are all spirits. Yin and Yang appear to live relatively normal lives, despite being spirits, as a seamstress and merchant respectively. Yfa could feel that a spirit was "[[https://yokokasquest.com/comic/chapter-7-page-30/ still deciding what it wants to be]]" within Grace's [[PlayingCardMotifs lucky deck]], and later they would "[[https://yokokasquest.com/comic/chapter-8-page-51/ need the final touch]]", for Grace "[[https://yokokasquest.com/comic/chapter-8-page-52/ to call out to them]]", before the Poker Gang would be born. Grace then [[https://yokokasquest.com/comic/chapter-8-page-56/ forms a pact]] with the Poker Gang, making her [[SummonMagic their summoner]]. Blinky explains that "[[https://yokokasquest.com/comic/chapter-7-page-22/ emotions, intent, mixed with the energy of the planet [are] what the spirits feed off of]]". Spirits [[TheAgeless have no age]].
