Romantic Two Girl Friendship has been renamed to Pseudo Romantic Friendship. All misuse and ZC Es will be deleted and all other examples will be changed to the correct trope.

* RomanticTwoGirlFriendship: Borderline and one-sided, actually. Rima gets ''really really'' jealous when anyone else gets close to Amu. Other than these times, she doesn't show actual romantic interest in Amu.
** Yaya and Rima seem to got this in Episode 44 of Shugo Chara! Doki!! when they were trapped in a secret underground base.
** And Rima and Nadeshiko, who she is noted as being much warmer to than Nagihiko. Their combination egg healing move is called Queen's Waltz.

* DespairEventHorizon: When a kid succumbs to this, their Heart's Egg turns into an X-Egg. Since X-Eggs are the [[MonsterOfTheWeek Monsters of the Week]] of the series, and Easter needs to gather lots of them to power their evil machines and find [[MacGuffin the Embryo]], a LOT of kids fall over the brink in [[SerialEscalation increasing numbers]], from one-on-one MindRape sessions with [[TheMole Nikaidou]] to hundreds and hundreds of listeners to MagicMusic. Luckily, Amu's [[CareBearStare Open]] [[SignatureMove Heart]] and some other Character Transformed characters' moves can purify the X-Eggs and save the eggs' owners from despair, complete with LaserGuidedAmnesia to cover up the supernatural events involved.
** However, if an X-Egg is physically attacked, it breaks, meaning a kid's dream is lost forever. The Guardians take pains to prevent this from happening, and only attack X-Eggs in non-lethal ways.

* DoubleStandard[=/=][[Lolicon]][=/=]ValuesDissonance: Averted for the most part when it comes to Amu and Ikuto's relationship ([[spoiler:Amu is 12 while Ikuto is 17]]) considering that outside of a few of Ikuto's classmates who teased him about it briefly, nobody in-universe seems to care (Well, Tadase does, but thats less because he's 17 and more because he's [[ForgottenFriendNewFoe Ikuto.]][[spoiler: When he reconciles with him, he's completely fine with it.]]). In fandoms though; of course, since the older one is a [[MenAreTheExpendableGender male]], [[BrokenBase the fanbase is really divided.]]
