The manga as well as the anime was owned by {{Tokyopop}}. But in 2009 they dropped the series without warning with only three volumes left to go. Thankfully, Del Ray (who are the holders of Mashima's other series ''Manga/FairyTail'') picked up the series and will release the series from beginning to end. They published the final three books as a single volume.

'Twas the first manga to bring success to Hiro Mishima (who would go on to create the little known gem ''MonsterSoul'' then the equally successful ''Manga/FairyTail'') weaving 35 volumes in a fantastic tale of love, honor, courage, fate and ThePowerOfFriendship. A very good read for anyone who's a fan of {{Shounen}} or just trying to get into manga in general.
