* BoobsOfSteel: Rumi is as voluptuous as she is skilled with her blade: facing down a rampaging wyvern and later a huge [[RockMonster Terra Golem]] are both treated as just routine {{Random Encounter}}s for her. It's hinted even [[TheDreaded Grakos]] may have had trouble against her and Rino, but [[WorfHadTheFlu unfortunately Rumi didn't have her sea legs yet]] and ended up nearly paralyzed by seasickness.

* {{Bishonen}}: Yota is good-looking enough to pass as a woman.

* {{Expy}}: Visually, Haru is similar to [[Manga/ElfenLied Lucy]]: red hair over [[PeekABangs one eye]], a similar facial structure and constantly having an [[UhOhEyes incredibly intense look in her eyes]].

* ADateWithRosiePalms: Since women can't have sex with men, this is their best alternative. [[SituationalSexuality Other than each other.]]

* OurGodsAreDifferent: Most gods of the Parallel World look like [[RidiculouslyCuteCritter adorable plush toys]], and when they speak, it's presented with jet-black word bubbles, [[VoiceOfTheLegion whatever that's]] [[BlackSpeech supposed to indicate]]. The limits of their power is unclear, though there was little Genius could do to stop Rumi from throttling him in frantic embarrassment, and Vulcan outwardly admits that Galia could kill him effortlessly, so they don't seem all that powerful. But then there's the Jealous God, who was capable of casting a catastrophic death curse on humanity and empowering his followers with immortality and other powerful abilities, and if Maya's words are anything to go by he would be nearly unstoppable [[SealedEvilInACan should he wake up]]...[[spoiler: until we learn that the Jealous God isn't a god at all: it's a machine with [[PoweredByAForsakenChild Nishina as its core.]]]]

* RespawnOnTheSpot: [[spoiler:When Yota dies, he gets sent back to his time with some injuries. Reentry into the fantasy world involves him bringing himself to critical condition, but he respawns in the world just before his time of death. The story makes clear that he can't just do this every time, since every death brings his original body closer to becoming immobile. Eventually he's effectively on his last life, as his parents have taken his original body on life support.]]

* KatanasAreJustBetter: [[SubvertedTrope No they're not.]] Yota may carry a katana with him for self-defense, but he never gets to use it in an actual fight: the first time he draws it on the Kall, they flee at the sight of him and he doesn't have the chance to fight. Thanks to the elemental barriers of Cetus, the katana just bounces off of her: he ends up using Rumi's Caliburn to fight the beast when the others are incapacitated. This is zig-zagged though, in that his original katana is just an old castoff, and barely useable. He later gets a much better sword, made with rare material, also in the form of a katana, that promises to be far better. It later proves to be so when it cuts s Morningstar in half.

* OurGodsAreDifferent: Most gods of the Parallel World look like [[RidiculouslyCuteCritter adorable plush toys]], and when they speak, it's presented with jet-black word bubbles, [[VoiceOfTheLegion whatever that's]] [[BlackSpeech supposed to indicate]]. * NotSoInvincibleAfterAll: [[spoiler:Before her invasion of Mies, Galia is portrayed to be practically invincible due to her shield blocking any attacks done on her. Then she invaded Mies, and one of Rumi's replacement, Nagomi, managed to shatter this by piercing her defense due to her FlashStep and attack Galia when Galia's prepping/launching her spell, revealing that the shield drops during that time. Too bad that Galia, after getting her head cut off, proceeds to transform herself into a giant sandworm, necessitating Nagomi to sacrifice herself to feed Galia in order to stop further rampage.]]

* {{Pride}}: [[spoiler: Galia's FatalFlaw. Despite having multiple chances to kill Yota and the others, she chooses instead to sadistically torment them and the citizens of Mies, entirely secure in the belief that she's invincible. This gives Yota and co. plenty of time to figure out her weaknesses.]]

* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Amane really did mean well but by [[spoiler: being the last person to travel the portal back to Mies to fight Galia, Lilia was left behind in Sandrio which may be the cause her StartOfDarkness.]]

One day at school, Youta sees someone strange entering school. Out of nowhere this being appears next to him and makes him fall from the 3rd floor! But he stops in a strange world, where beings like dragons exist! Youta meets a young paladin, and discovers that he is the only man inhabiting that planet, and that its inhabitants are extremely "weak" to his presence... would this be a paradise?

* AllJustADream: [[spoiler:After getting bitten nearly in half by a monster, Youta wakes up back in his home world, with his left arm and right leg missing from his fall off the roof. Turns out, however, that it WASN'T just a dream when the Ragged Doll makes another appearance and chucks him back into the parallel world.]]
* AllWomenAreLustful: Lust for men is encoded into their very DNA in the parallel world. Since there's been no men for the past 300 years, the women of the parallel world are incredibly 'weak' to Youta: the slightest touch or even just seeing his bare torso is enough to leave them chomping at the bit for sex. It's likened to an immune system incapable of resisting an unknown pathogen: the girls even demonstrate the development of a slight 'resistance' after being exposed to Youta for a while. Though Lumi is still all-too-eager to mate with Youta when the opportunity presents itself, his presence doesn't reduce her to the same helpless mess that it did the first time they met.
* AmbiguouslyHuman: [[spoiler: With her ability to WallCrawl, casually travel between dimensions, and the fact she's invisible to all but Youta when on earth, Lilia's true nature is a big question mark...that is, if the Ragged Doll actually is Lilia at all and not just ''something'' wearing her face.]]

** [[spoiler: After taking a fatal wound from Cetus, Youta wakes up in his home world, and finds out his left arm and right leg were damaged so badly in his fall in chapter one that they had to be amputated.]]
* BackFromTheDead: [[spoiler:Continuously being thrown out a window by the mysterious figure to return Youta to the fantasy world finally convinces his father that he wants to die and allows him to be taken off life support. The death of his original body causes Youta to drop dead on the spot in the fantasy world, but then the mysterious figure appears and, in a somewhat-different-than-usual manner of casual violence, brings it back to life.]]

* BewareTheSillyOnes: With how goofy she often acts, it's kind of easy to forget how strong Lumi is, killing a wyvern and a terra golem with no real effort, and actually going toe-to-toe with a Kall at one point (though she's overwhelmed by numbers, even one Kall is shown to be a devastating force).

* {{Bishonen}}: Youta is good-looking enough to pass as a woman.
* BrainlessBeauty: Lumi may have a good heart, but she's far from the brightest, as Youta laments. She's not ''dumb'' by any stretch, but [[BookDumb trying to learn math burns her out quickly.]]
** Inverted with Hanahana, who is every bit as voluptuous as Lumi but takes to Youta's math lessons like a duck to water.

** When the girls' moons breaks off, they begin to melt from their skins to their bones, leaving only their clothes they wear after they die. Youta sees this first hand upon seeing Haru's death.

** [[spoiler: Youta's injuries from falling out the window start to add up: the first time, he loses AnArmAndALeg, and when he returns to the real world again after drowning, he's in a full body cast barely clinging to life.]]

* CantHoldHerLiquor: None of the characters seem to hold it very well. Youta passes out after one glass.
* CasualKink: It turns out that Youta is a bit of a sadist: during sex he enjoys verbally humiliating the girls and watching their reactions. But he never goes further than pointing out how undignified they are in the throes of passion and, again, ''this is just in the bedroom:'' he's at his core a good man who's bound and determined to break the God of Deep Envy's curse because it's the right thing to do, and as shown during the fight with Cetus he'd [[TakingTheBullet die for the girls]].

* CelibateHero: Leighmary feels nothing but dissapointment when she sees her garrison throwing itself at Youta with a bit of prodding from other characters. She's never even touched herself before [[spoiler: she very reluctantly gives herself up to Youta to be spared her Moon-Breaking, as everyone including herself agrees she's far too strong a potential ally to let her suffer such a fate. Even then, she's able to tell him off at first, and it's Youta who comes back to finish the job when she regrets sending him away.]]
* CerebusSyndrome: The story at first is a relatively-upbeat ecchi Isekai series. When the characters reach Sendorio, however, ''shit gets real''. The wish-fulfillment aspect of the story falls apart quickly once Youta is reduced to the LustObject of the girls of the city, being tied down and gangraped. Then comes the reveal that the parallel world is [[spoiler: [[AfterTheEnd a post-apocalyptic]] [[EarthAllAlong Earth]].]] ''[[spoiler: [[FromBadToWorse And then Galia shows up.]]]]''

* ClingyJealousGirl: Despite understanding that Youta mating with other girls is unavoidable and oftentimes for the best, Lumi sure as hell doesn't like it.

* ChickMagnet: By virtue of being a man in this world, Youta is almost completely irresistible to any woman who is aware he is male, and any female he touches will be overcome with arousal.

* CovertPervert: Lilia may act properly, but she's easily the most perverted of the girls Youta meets, and the most eager to mate.
* CrapsaccharineWorld: The ladies of the parallel world may be ready and willing to jump Youta at the slightest touch, and it's referred to as a paradise, but a bit of digging reveals that it's a sick, sad world at its core: besides crawling with murderous monsters, the women are cursed to die horribly when they turn twenty thanks to the curse of a god, and the aforementioned god has at least one immortal, psychotic follower going around slaughtering innocents at her leisure. [[spoiler:Youta's slow descent into sexual sadism and his increasing jerky tendencies towards the girls (since he's stuck in a world where he can have most of them at his disposal with enough contact and manipulation) isn't looked over either; Nishina reveals that ''every'' human man that's been there eventually turned out that way.]] It's not for nothing that Youta decided something had to be done about it: despite the temptation, what's happening in this world is too ''wrong'' not to do anything.
* {{Curse}}: Apparently, 3000 years ago, the God of Deep Envy cursed this world's humanity, exterminating all the men and condemning the women to die at the age of 20 if they don't mate.
* CuteAndPsycho: [[spoiler: Remember the ragged doll creature that threw Youta out of the window? In chapter 60, it turns out to be Lilia. And she's doing all of this because she loves Youta. Yeah, she's got a few dozen screws loose.]]
* CuteClumsyGirl: Arara is seemingly incapable of taking three steps before tripping over her own feet and falling flat on her face. [[spoiler: It's not an act, either: TheDreaded Galia, mightiest of the God of Deep Jealousy's apostles, really is that much of a klutz.]]

* DeusSexMachina: On top of breaking the curse, having sex with Youta comes with a few other perks as the girls learn, such as the ability to ride bicorns (though that comes at the cost of having unicorns hate you), see spirits like Noa and immunity to Kai's paralyzing spell.
* DistressedDude: [[spoiler: After their boat sinks, Youta wakes up in Sendorio, chained to a bed getting gang-raped by women desperate to break the curse on them. When he attempts to escape, the ringleader makes it quite plain that she won't hesitate to hurt him if he gets any funny ideas.]]
* TheDogWasTheMastermind: [[spoiler:After hundreds of chapters, the gang comes out to find the God of Deep Jealousy is...a boy Youta knew in high school who was only mentioned twice before in flashbacks.]]
* DoesNotLikeMen: A common sentiment in the parallel world, thanks to the [[HumanoidAbomination Kall]] roaming around killing everyone they come across. Misaki nearly kills Youta on the spot when she learns he's a man and Lumi acts much the same in the first chapter, though less openly violent and more afraid.
* TheDulcineaEffect: Youta has a major case of this: his quest was started by his disgust over the curse laid on the girls of the parallel world, so much so that he's willing to risk his life hunting down a PhysicalGod in a world filled with ferocious monsters and worse to save them all. [[spoiler: This even extends to people like Erza, who had been torturing him mere moments before her moons broke: one minute Youta was [[DeathGlare glaring at her]] after punching her across the room, the next she was melting and Youta was horrified and frantic to save her.]]
* EveryoneHasStandards: Despite well-justified anger toward Erza, [[spoiler: Youta is horrified when the curse starts to claim her: it's too cruel a fate even for [[UnsexySadist her.]]]]
* EvilIsPetty: [[spoiler:Kanejou apparently made Youta's life a living hell before either of them got sent to the "other" world. Just why did he sexually assault Nishina and brutalize Youta's mother? [[SoreLoser Youta scored one legitimate point off of him in a kendo match]] even when Kanejou blatantly cheated, and Kanejou can't stand that he lost to someone who doesn't even care about kendo all that much.]]

* FantasticArousal: Merely touching Youta sends the women of the world into ludicrous levels of arousal but it's also stated that it feels absolutely ''amazing'' when it happens.
* FauxActionGirl: Zig-zagged. The girls are all demonstrably skilled with their weapons, but they've been bailed out of tight situations on multiple occasions by the far less skilled Youta. There are usually extenuating circumstances to explain this: sometimes they're distracted and caught off-guard, sometimes Youta has outside knowledge of their foe giving him an distinct advantage (the creatures of the parallel world boast uncanny similarities to common RPG monsters, and Youta's a gamer). Regardless, the girls are overall much more skilled combatants than he is.

* TheFinalTemptation: In the form of an orgy with the Quintet (sans Haru). For a moment, he seems content to just stay where he is, making love to the beautiful warrior women he's won over...but the end of the chapter reveals he chose his duty over his desires and is preparing to hunt down the God of Deep Jealousy.
* FirstGirlWins: Lumi is the first girl Youta encounters in the parallel world, the first girl he makes love to, and the two share a far closer bond than the other girls who Youta beds later on.
* ForcedTransformation: [[spoiler: Nakuta]] is subjected to a horrific case of this by [[spoiler: the Empress through a spell]], reconstructing the poor girl's Amazon-like beauty into a dirty piglet with an ugly bald human head where it's normal head would be, complete with her normal eyes. All talented enough Guardians are apparently cursed with something similar, including [[spoiler: Leighmary]].
* GeekyTurnOn: Hanahana's honest attempts to become smarter endear her to Youta, seeing her as this world's equivalent to a cute honor student character.
* GeniusBonus: The Terra Golem is destroyed when Lumi attacks the rightmost symbol on its forehead. In the myth of the {{Golem}}, they are brought to life by writing ''emeth'', the Hebrew word for 'truth' on its forehead. To shut them down, get rid of first letter (which would be the rightmost symbol) to make ''meth'', or 'death'.
* GodIsDead: [[spoiler: In chapter 29 Youta is told that the God of Deep Envy is, in reality, long dead. It's a big fat lie, and it's later revealed that the one who told him that answers directly to said god.]]
* GodOfEvil: Between the genocidal death curse on humanity and the cult following it that employs such delightful people as [[ImAHumanitarian Kai]], the God of Deep Jealousy is shaping up to be this. [[spoiler: Turns out he's not. It's not even a 'he'. It's not even a god. It's not even ''sentient''. The God of Deep Jealousy is a machine, with none other than Nishina cryonically frozen as its core. '''[[GreaterScopeVillain SOMEONE BUILT THE DAMN THING.]]''']]
* GreenAroundTheGills: Lumi gets sick and throws up immediately after their ship starts sailing. It's funny at first, less so when her seasickness prevents her from fighting Grakos effectively.
* GroinAttack: Youta comes within mere centimeters of one mid-lovemaking with Vanille courtesy of the scythe-wielding Erza.

* HeadTurningBeauty: Even by the series' standards, Leighmary, the WorldsStrongestMan of the Guardians, is dizzyingly gorgeous, to the point where Youta initially mistakes her for a High Elf and is immediately smitten by her.
* HeartIsAnAwesomePower: Chapter 64 marks the first time Youta actually exploits his LivingAphrodisiac abilities against someone: one touch reduces Vanille to a gushing, weak-kneed mess, allowing him to take her guns away from her. [[GoneHorriblyRight Unfortunately, she manages to stop him from escaping regardless when she clings on to him, begging at full volume for him to mate with her]]: the sound brings Erza running and Youta is tossed back in his room.
* HeelRealization: Youta realizes just how far he's fallen when Nishina confronts him after he mates with Mei, telling him that he disgusts her so badly she wants to kill him and storming out. The next day he [[PoseOfSupplication prostrates himself before Mei]] and begs her forgiveness. The chapter is even titled "Return From Darkness".

** [[spoiler: Youta shoves Tia and Lumi out of the way of Cetus's bite attack and gets the left side of his abdomen torn off. He gets better: he wakes up on Earth, and upon his return to the parallel world his wound is gone.]]
* HonorBeforeReason: [[spoiler: After seeing Misaki mating with Youta, Haru refuses to follow suit, choosing to die from the curse rather than debase herself. She permits Youta to touch her on the cheek as she passes on, though, and admits it feels great.]]
** Momo condemns Youta's desire to risk his life attempting to kill the God of Deep Jealousy as this, calling him foolish for doing so as opposed to staying with the Quintet from then on. [[{{Tsundere}} It's not like she's worried he'll get hurt or anything...]]

* HypocriticalHumor: Despite Lumi telling Youta to not call Genius (an apparent god) a bird, she does the same shortly after.
* IKnowMortalKombat: Downplayed: there's a world of difference between kendo and actual swordfighting, but it's enough for Youta to kind-of-sort-of know how to use a sword. He's leagues behind people like Lumi, but he can defend himself if it comes down to it and has actually saved ''her'' on occasion by [[CombatPragmatist attacking a distracted enemy]].

* InelegantBlubbering: Lumi's a bit of a crybaby, but when she tries to bid Youta farewell as he heads out on his journey to kill the God of Deep Jealousy, she's bawling so badly she can't get her words out: [[{{Squick}} tears, sweat, drool, snot]], the works.
* InnocentlyInsensitive: Lumi is ''furious'' when Youta tells her that she isn't going to die young after they mate and accuses him of [[DontYouDarePityMe only doing it out of pity]]. Youta sets the record straight:

[[InnocentlyInsensitive Hanahana's musing about the topic don't help matters.]] In the case of Lumi, however, it's evident to both of them that the love they share is mutual and genuine.
* InSeriesNickname: Downplayed with Youta: he mentions back home that his nickname among his friends is "The Sun": it's a pun, being the kanji for his first name backwards.

* JerkWithAHeartOfGold: Youta's attitude can be somewhat unpleasant at times, particularly his DeadpanSnarker attitude and willingness to take potshots at the girls if they give him cause to. Regardless, he's at his core a selfless, gallant individual who cares for others and wants to do the right thing by them, even individuals like Noa who he promises to help after just meeting her scant minutes before.
* JizzedInMyPants: A touch from Youta is usually strong enough to make a girl squirt, and it happens with surprising frequency.
* JumpingOffTheSlipperySlope: Youta's morality gets muddier the longer he's active in this new world. It hits its crescendo in Alslayer, what with Youta [[spoiler:practically raping Nakuta to make her a non-threat, forcing Lumi into heat then forcing her to give him a blowjob just to shut her up, then manipulating Mei into having sex with him, despite Mei being so innocent ''she doesn't even know what sex is'', by promising that doing so will keep her from dying due to moon break, even though that's not necessarily the case, and he knows it, all while he's literally gloating internally about it while the poor girl is falling apart in front of him due to her fear of her own mortality. Youta then takes the extra time to humiliate Mei, just for the hell of it, while embracing the newly appreciated freedom to get as much sex for himself as this world is willing to provide him.]] Lo and behold, the black collar signifying that that she will no longer die due to moon break doesn't appear. The sad part is that Youta was already warned that [[spoiler:the previous man who came to this world was a monster who basically screwed every woman he saw and treated them like his toys, and Youta seems to be following the same path]]. He does get a TheReasonYouSuckSpeech from Nishina that shocks him to his core, and [[HeelRealization afterwards he seems to be trying to keep himself grounded again.]]
* KatanasAreJustBetter: [[SubvertedTrope No they're not.]] Youta may carry a katana with him for self-defense, but he never gets to use it in an actual fight: the first time he draws it on the Kall, they flee at the sight of him and he doesn't have the chance to fight. Thanks to the elemental barriers of Cetus, the katana just bounces off of her: he ends up using Lumi's Caliburn to fight the beast when the others are incapacitated. This is zig-zagged though, in that his original katana is just an old castoff, and barely useable. He later gets a much better sword, made with rare material, also in the form of a katana, that promises to be far better. It later proves to be so when it cuts s Morningstar in half.
* KillTheGod: Youta's goal: kill the God of Deep Jealousy and break the death curse the God placed on the parallel world.
* KnightOfCerebus: As dangerous, terrifying and flat-out disgusting as the Kall are, they're ultimately dumb animals and really no issue with Youta around as they run away at the sight of him. Kai, on the other hand, is leagues more dangerous and intimidating and far, ''far'' more depraved.

* LivingAphrodisiac: Youta is capable of making a woman horny by simply touching her, and he also tends to lose his mind in the same way the girls do after smelling their fluids, but he's at least more in control. [[spoiler:We later learn the feeling lasts long after Youta's gone for the girls, unfortunately. Not even masturbation can satiate them anymore now that they've had sex with him.]] The one, and only, person this doesn't work on is [[spoiler:Nishina, and that's because she's not even like the rest of the girls period.]]
* MadMathematician: Hanahana gets ''really'' enthusiastic when Youta teaches her numbers.

* MateOrDie: Women in this world will die by the age of twenty unless Youta has sex with them, hence his quest to find answers and break the curse.

* MegatonPunch: Lumi socks Youta in the face when he makes fun of her for hiding her head in a tree trunk to cover up her embarrassment...forgetting that she was GoingCommando and thus presenting ''everything''.
* MortalWoundReveal: A hilariously perverted variation of this when Kia makes a deal with Youta to avoid mating with him: if he touches her and she gets aroused, she'll mate. If not, she'll give herself up to Galia. Youta touches her: nothing happens. Kia calmly turns around, stepping forward bravely to meet her fate...and leaving a trail of her 'springs of lust' in her wake. Then she crumples to the ground and starts frantically masturbating in front of everyone.
* MortonsFork: Grakos's assault on the ship ends up being this for the heroes: Youta has to choose between starting a fire at sea (a really bad idea) to drive the monster off or letting the thing kill them all. He chooses the former, and the sails ignite, stranding them all in the middle of the ocean.

* NegatedMomentOfAwesome: Lumi cleaves through all of Grakos's tentacles in one magnificent swing, and for a moment it looks like she and Rino may be able to drive the beast off together...but then Lumi's seasickness hits her full-force and she collapses to the deck, puking.
* {{Netorare}}: Youta once tries to mate a lesbian couple in order to collar them. The scene is played out exactly like a netorare scenario, where one girl is restrained and forced to watch her partner be mated by Youta, all while the latter girl insists she won't give into lust and remain devoted to her lover. She breaks very easily and turns into a sopping mess for Youta, and the one restrained threatens to kill Youta for this before being mated herself.
* NightmareFuelStationAttendant: Momo of the Quintet has a somewhat twisted personality, saying and doing rather unsettling things with a serene little smile on her face: suggesting without any apparent hint of irony that the girls should [[ItMakesSenseInContext crucify Youta to the city walls as living Kall repellent]], for one.
* NoImmortalInertia: [[spoiler: Witches rapidly age when out of energy or dying: it's initially shown with Kai after she empties her magic reserves fighting Youta and the guardians. Later, Galia meets the same fate: when Youta hits her weak point, she's forced out of her OneWingedAngel form and appears as a wrinkled old hag before [[ImMelting collapsing into a puddle of sludge.]]]]
* NonIndicativeName: Sayuri the saleswoman from chapter 3, despite being called a rogue-elf, its actually a CatGirl. Naturally Youta points it out.
* NoSell: Cetus is immune to Blue (water originated) weapons by virtue of being a sea monster. Rumi's sword on the other hand is of White element, meaning she can harm it. On the flipside, Cetus's elemental attacks cannot damage Blue weapons, which lets Tia protect Youta from Cetus's BreathWeapon using a comparably flimsy trident.
* NotSoInvincibleAfterAll: [[spoiler:Before her invasion of Mies, Galia is portrayed to be practically invincible due to her shield blocking any attacks done on her. Then she invaded Mies, and one of Lumi's replacement, Nagomi, managed to shatter this by piercing her defense due to her FlashStep and attack Galia when Galia's prepping/launching her spell, revealing that the shield drops during that time. Too bad that Galia, after getting her head cut off, proceeds to transform herself into a giant sandworm, necessitating Nagomi to sacrifice herself to feed Galia in order to stop further rampage.]]
* NotSoStoic: After mating with Youta, Tia shows a barrage of embarrassed expressions, heavily contrasting her serious demeanor earlier.

* OlderThanTheyLook: Pinako maybe 18 years old, but she looks no older than twelve according to Youta. [[Really700YearsOld And then there's Kai and Noa.]]
* OldSchoolChivalry: When Youta saves a distracted Lumi from a lizard and she demands to know why, he simply answers there's no reason: it's a man's job to keep girls safe. This proves to be too much for the already turned-on Lumi and she pounces on him.

* OneHitKill: All monsters, even the colossal terra golems, have weak points that cause them to disintegrate when struck. This applies even after death, as shown when Youta stabs a dead werewolf in the throat and destroys its body. Part of what makes the Kall so scary is that on top of being {{Lightning Bruiser}}s, the location of their weak spot is ''random'' between the holes on their faces, meaning that even if someone manages to pierce their guard there's only a one in four chance it'll work.
* OneWingedAngel: [[spoiler:Kai turns into the monstrous Cetus in order to kill Youta and the guardians for finding out the truth about the God of Deep Jealousy]].

* OurDragonsAreDifferent: [[spoiler: Galia's OneWingedAngel form isn't a sandworm: Youta notices it has arms, horns and scales, and bets the farm on Galia being an Eastern Dragon. His hunch turns out to be correct when he attacks the fabled 'reverse scale' that dragons are said to have beneath their chin that serve as their weakness, and succeeds in killing Galia.]]
* OurGodsAreDifferent: Most gods of the Parallel World look like [[RidiculouslyCuteCritter adorable plush toys]], and when they speak, it's presented with jet-black word bubbles, [[VoiceOfTheLegion whatever that's]] [[BlackSpeech supposed to indicate]]. The limits of their power is unclear, though there was little Genius could do to stop Lumi from throttling him in frantic embarrassment, and Vulcan outwardly admits that Galia could kill him effortlessly, so they don't seem all that powerful. But then there's the God of Deep Jealousy, who was capable of casting a catastrophic death curse on humanity and empowering his followers with immortality and other powerful abilities, and if Maya's words are anything to go by he would be nearly unstoppable [[SealedEvilInACan should he wake up]]...[[spoiler: until we learn that the God of Deep Jealousy isn't a god at all: it's a machine with [[PoweredByAForsakenChild Nishina as its core.]]]]
* OurMermaidsAreDifferent: [[spoiler: Cetus is a hideous mishmash of a troll and a large canid beast with a long fish tail for hind legs.]]

* OutWithABang: [[spoiler:Kai intends to kill Youta after she mates with him.]]
** [[spoiler: Youta attempts to save Erza from the curse after her moons break, but even though mating with her prevented the agonizing melting part of it, she still VanishedIntoLight as soon as she climaxed.]]

* ParalyzingFearOfSexuality: The reason why Amane doesn't speak, and is extremely against mating Youta, even if it's for saving her life (which results in the others girls tying her up and delivered her to his room, twice) is because [[spoiler:she was ashamed of herself getting aroused by the Kalls raping her friends to death.]] She does eventually comes around, however, and gives herself to him willingly.
* ThePiratesWhoDontDoAnything: Lumi's a subdued example: despite being ThePaladin, she doesn't really DO anything that fits that role besides happening to wield a White-element weapon. She's not particularly religious, and the god that could have been her patron (Genius) doesn't get a lot of interaction or for that matter respect from her. She doesn't even fit this as a [[FantasyCharacterClasses Character Class]]: she's shown no magical aptitude. Regardless, all of this doesn't make her any less badass once she starts swinging that sword around.
* PornWithPlot: Let's just say Youta having a lot of sex is necessary for the story to advance. As the story progresses and the twists and {{Wham Episode}}s start to pile up, it flips to PlotWithPorn.

* {{Pride}}: [[spoiler: Galia's FatalFlaw. Despite having multiple chances to kill Youta and the others, she chooses instead to sadistically torment them and the citizens of Mies, entirely secure in the belief that she's invincible. This gives Youta and co. plenty of time to figure out her weaknesses.]]
* RapeByProxy: Youta gets forced into it twice. The first time is when the Guardians of Sendorio force him to mate with multiple women in the city to break the curses on them. The second time is when [[spoiler: Galia forces Youta to have sex with Katsuchi in order to save the world. In this case, Galia also forces Katsuchi to have to evacuate her bowels and bets the salvation of humanity on whether or not Youta can ejaculate inside of her before she shits herself. Youta cleverly wins this little game switching to anal midway through the copulation to prevent Katsuchi from having a bowel movement before he finishes. Unfortunately, his penis goes limp when he's done and Katsuchi still needs to go (and Gallia refuses to release her from the magical bonds that were holding her up) so...]]
* ReallyGetsAround: By chapter 25, Youta has mated with four different girls, and is sure to get higher.
* RespawnOnTheSpot: [[spoiler:When Youta dies, he gets sent back to his time with some injuries. Reentry into the fantasy world involves him bringing himself to critical condition, but he respawns in the world just before his time of death. The story makes clear that he can't just do this every time, since every death brings his original body closer to becoming immobile. Eventually he's effectively on his last life, as his parents have taken his original body on life support.]]
* SamusIsAGirl: [[spoiler:The series spends so much time focusing on the LadyLand aspect that it never dawns on Youta that the God of Deep Jealousy could turn out to be male. And indeed, none of the people who know about the God refer to them with either male or female pronouns. When time comes and we see the ''real'' god, they are indeed a man.]]
* SingleStrokeBattle: One in Chapter 85 that probably counts as the most ridiculous example in the history of Manga: Youta [[BestHerToBedHer challenges Amane to a duel so he can mate with her]]. Her weapon, her sword. His weapon, his bare hand. In one swift movement they clash: Youta dodges the blade and gets cut on the cheek, while he manages to touch Amane's face. [[JizzedInMyPants Down she goes.]]
* SituationalSexuality: It has been confirmed in chapter 31 that since there are no men around, girls turn to each other.
** Chapter 104 delivers practical example when Lumi and Amane start comforting each other, when Youta is "busy".

* SlapSlapKiss: As much as Youta and Lumi care about each other, they squabble a ''lot'', and Lumi's given him his fair share of {{Dope Slap}}s and {{Megaton Punch}}es.
* SpannerInTheWorks: Youta's very presence throws Kai's entire operation out of whack: for some reason, he and the girls he mates with are able to see Noa, and in helping her they learn enough about the God of Deep Jealousy to force Kai out of hiding so she can kill them and keep the God's existence secret. Despite having spent hundreds of years keeping weapons that can harm her out of Lille, Kai couldn't have forseen Lumi's [[LightEmUp Caliburn]] coming, and thanks to Youta's knowlege of mythology and quick thinking, Lille is ultimately freed from the evil bishop's grasp.

* StarterVillain: [[spoiler: Kai: a 'bishop' of the Cult of the God of Deep Jealousy, and the first thing the characters face directly related to [[GreaterScopeVillain said god]].]]

* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: [[spoiler:Everything that happens in Youta's home time. His parents and the doctors eventually surmise that his insistence in throwing himself out the window every time he's able means he's been traumatized from his initial incident and deeply suicidal. His parents come to the conclusion that his 'attempts' are really just his way of telling them to [[SuicideByCop take him off life support]], and given his injuries have reduced him to all but his brain functions, they reluctantly oblige.]]
* SympathyForTheDevil: Despite everything she had been doing to him mere minutes before, Youta is horrified [[spoiler: when the curse starts to kill Erza, and though he convinces her to mate with him in a last-ditch effort to save her, it's all for naught. When Vanille bursts into the room, she finds [[HeroicBSOD a clearly-distraught Youta sitting silently by Erza's empty clothes.]]]]
* TakenForGranite: After Youta [[spoiler:returns to his world]], he deduces that Cetus only comes out at night because it turns into stone with sunlight. [[spoiler: He turns out to be right on the money: the sun comes up, Kai turns to stone and crumbles into dust.]]

* TemptingFate: Lumi does this twice in chapter 3, first she tells Youta the worst thing it could happen to him is stepping on bird poop, next panel she steps on lizard poop. She also tells him not to touch any other girl, and unsurprisingly he touches Lilia by the end of the chapter.
** On a more serious note, when Youta worries about sea monsters' attacks, Makana assures him monsters won't attack their ship, with the exception of the Grakos that only comes out when there's no wind. [[OhCrap The wind immediately stops]].

* TheirFirstTime: Lumi and Youta have their mutual first time.

* ThroughHisStomach: Tia clearly enjoys having her cooking praised by Youta, and as he leaves for Sendorio she makes him promise to come back so she can cook for him again.

* TrappedInAnotherWorld: Youta isn't sure how he arrived to this world, but is willing to make the best of it.

** Unicorns not only exists in this world, but they're also relatively easy to find in the wild and known to be invariably nice and helpful to travelers. Youta quickly figures out that these unicorns actually behave like the ones from myth in Earth in that the [[VirginPower only tolerate virgin girls]] when the first unicorn he meets rejects Lumi. Her surprise at this also told him that unicorns' fame for friendliness comes from the fact the other world is a LadyLand where everybody dies a virgin, so it's natural for people to assume that's rule rather than the exception.
** On the other hand a bicorn, a symbol of impurity, takes an immediate liking towards Lumi, who only knew them as violent creatures for reasons similar to the above. This becomes a plot point when another character who knew the myths about bicorns figures out Youta's existence from it.

** Youta may have a few sadistic traits, like how he points out how undignified the girls are when he mates with them in order to embarrass them, but at no point has he truly dehumanized them or god forbid harmed them physically, and all of the times he's instigated sex it's been consensual. The same CANNOT be said for Erza, who forces herself on Youta against his will, makes him call himself a pig, kicks him and strikes him with the hilt of her scythe, threatens him with the business end of her weapon should he resist, and instigates '''''[[{{Squick}} watersports]]''''' on the poor kid. [[spoiler: Even she herself admits as she dies of Moonbreak that her urges unsettle her, but she simply can't help herself.]]

** It's not as if Youta's exempt from this trope as well. [[spoiler:As time went on, he eventually became rather cruel and demanding to Lumi and other girls, even forcing a lesbian couple to get addicted to him while they [[{{Netorare}} take their turns being tied up watching him]]. He does feel some remorse, but he's convinced himself that it's all to help them avoid moon breaking.]]
* UnwittingInstigatorOfDoom: Amane really did mean well but by [[spoiler: being the last person to travel the portal back to Mies to fight Galia, Lilia was left behind in Sendorio which may be the cause her StartOfDarkness.]]
* WeakButSkilled: Despite having taken Kendo, Youta is far and away the least combat-oriented of the denizens of the parallel world. This forces him to use his knowledge of mythology and quick thinking to defend himself: [[spoiler: his battle with Cetus shows this well as he focuses on incapacitating the monster with strikes to her limbs so that she can't escape the rising sun, rather than going for a killing blow.]]

* WhamEpisode: Chapters 48-50 are an extended example of this: [[spoiler:Youta is fatally injured by Kai, but immediately afterwards he finds himself back in his world with his arm and leg lost because of his fall. THEN he's forcefully sent back to the parallel world...and his childhood crush Nishina is dragged along for the ride!]]
** Chapter 60 is an even bigger example: [[spoiler: Youta dies in the parallel world after being shipwrecked and again wakes up in the real world. This time, his body is in even worse shape than last time, with one of his eyes also missing. The masked doll that sent him to the parallel world the previous times is standing right over him. When he asks who it is and why it's doing it, it removes the mask... and it turns out to be '''Lilia!''']] ''Nobody saw that coming.''
** Chapter 70 [[spoiler: Youta breaks the barricaded window of the room which he is kept imprisoned, seeing Sendorio for the first time: surprise, it turns out the parallel world was EarthAllAlong!]]
** Chapter 80 [[spoiler: The God of Deep Jealousy is a supercomputer in a heavily fortified underground facility protected by a password-locked hi-tech sealed blast door, and at the center of the machine is a naked Nishina in a glass tube!]]

** More meta than anything, but Lumi crying out in pleasure as she and Youta consummate their relationship gets a full page to itself, as if it's the manga's way of saying 'No, I'm ''not'' kidding. They're having sex.'.
** [[spoiler: The huge eye splitting open one of the twin moons glaring down at the oblivious Youta, perhaps our first glimpse of the God of Deep Jealousy...]]

* WickedWitch: Kai, a depraved, cannibalistic woman with magic abilities who secretly holds Lille under her thumb. Galia, another witch under the God of Deep Jealousy's employ, is said to be even ''worse'', [[spoiler: and when she finally makes her appearance, NOPE: not an exaggeration.]]
* WorfHadTheFlu: Lumi's seasickness completely cripples her during Grakos's attack on the ship: she manages one attack on the monster before she keels over, vomiting.

* WouldHitAGirl: [[spoiler: As soon as Youta manages to wriggle free of his bindings, he slugs Erza, who's torturing him at the time, so hard she goes flying across the room.]]
