He's entirely absent from the 'film with no explanation given of how Ghidorah's skull made its way from his possession to [[spoiler:Apex Cybernetics]], but in the novelization; a prologue scene set two years before the main time frame depicts a man who's heavily implied to be Jonah meeting with Walter Simmons after having contacted him on the dark web, [[spoiler:offering Simmons the skull of San/Kevin's severed head plus a second Ghidorah skull of unknown origin]] in exchange for a lot of money.

This is removed from localized manuals. The Bubble enemy may also be an allusion to the latter game's [Lava] Bubbles (then known as Podoboos).

* ''Manga/FairyTail'' has a few cameo especially from the creator's previous manga ''Manga/RaveMaster''.

* "Dual! Parallel Trouble Adventure" has Kiyone Makibi, Ramia, and Misao Amano from "Tenchi Muyo" appear as background characters in the final ova episode. other tenchi charaters show in the laser disk sleeve artwork while elements of Dual! pop up in "Tenchi Muyo GXP" both shows are from the same team at AIC and are considered as part of one multiverse.

* If you play Level 9 in Mode B of the NES ''VideoGame/{{Tetris}}'' and successfully complete it, various Nintendo characters will appear to congratulate you. The higher you have the "High" setting set (which fills the play area with random blocks at the start), the more characters there will be

** Similarly, in the first level of the first episode there's an arcade cabinet of VideoGame/DukeNukem 2. Pressing use on it earns the one-liner "Hmm, don't have time to play with myself." * ''Fanfic/ThePiecesLieWhereTheyFell'': A [[spoiler:human version of [[Blog/AskFlufflePuff Fluffle Puff]] ]] makes an appearance in chapter 41, albeit not named, wanting a trio dance with Night Blade and Page Turner, who accept.

* ''Film/ElCamino'' is set up immediately after [[Series/BreakingBad Breaking Bad's]] series finale, so [[VillainProtagonist Walter White]], Mike Ehrmantraut, Todd Alquist and Jane Margolis are all dead at this point in the franchise. However, the film features flashbacks to the series' timeline displaying encounters with each of them we hadn't previously seen.

** ''Film/GuardiansOfTheGalaxy'' has Creator/LloydKaufman (mentor of the film's director, James Gunn) appear as an inmate in the Kyln.
