** A particularly awesome one in ''WesternAnimation/TheIncredibles'' for anyone who is into animation history. Those two old men who praise the heroes after the climax ("That's the way to do it" - "No school like the old school") are ''Frank Thomas and Ollie Johnston''...Not ringing a bell? They were the last surviving two of Disney's "Nine Old Men", legendary animators who had been in the business practically since the beginning. For example, they were both animators on ''Disney/SnowWhiteAndTheSevenDwarfs'', and were involved in practically every animated Disney project up to ''Disney/TheFoxAndTheHound''. (Sadly, Thomas didn't live to see ''The Incredibles'' finished, and Johnston died in 2008.)

** As a matter of fact, his habit of doing a cameo in each of his films became so well known that he had to do it as early in the film as possible, so that the audience would focus on the plot and the actors instead of looking for him.

* While the ''Anime/YuGiOh'' anime and [[Manga/YuGiOh manga]] aren't as bad, [[TabletopGame/YuGiOh the card game]] itself often features cameo appearances from various {{Konami}} game characters ([[GanbareGoemon Goegoe the Gallant Ninja, Lady Ninja Yae, Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke]], [[VideoGame/GetsuFumaDen Getsu Fuhma, Ryu Kokki]]) and weapons ([[VideoGame/{{Gradius}} Gradius, Victory Viper XX03, anything with B.E.S. in its name]]) as cards in the game to fill out sets and make new decktypes. Granted, while Konami rarely makes them too useful, it does make them.

* In Chapter 29 of ''FanFic/OriginStory'', Deadpool shows up to bug Alex, and specifically says he's just there to make a cameo in the story because a friend of the writer bet him (the writer that is) $50 that the writer wouldn't dare drop a random Deadpool cameo into the story. The writer won the bet.

* ''Film/StrokerAce'', due to being a movie following a [=NASCAR=] driver, features a number of actual stockcar drivers and commentators in the background. The most prominent of the drivers is Harry Gant, who is the unfortunate victim of Aubrey James' one-sided rivalry with Stroker ''twice''.
** [[CreatorCameo Hal Needham]] appears as a bar patron who [[BarBrawl punches Stroker from out of nowhere]].
