She is prone to HulkSpeak, and is often a {{Barbarian Hero}}ine due having lived isolated from civilization in some way--whether she is [[RaisedByWolves raised by wild animals]] or a member of a primitive tribe. Occasionally she is only a Beastess in appearance, which can vary from being heavy set, to athletic, to even having BoobsOfSteel, but ''always'' imposing in size and strength. Despite her "savage" traits and appearance, a Beastess can actually be a very calm, even intelligent character.

* [[ShockAndAwe Raijin]] from ''{{Muramasa|TheDemonBlade}}'' is an odd example of this trope, seeing as she's [[HotGod a goddess]] (however, this is accurate to JapaneseMythology, as the [[AttractiveBentGender original]] Raijin resembled an oni). She's a [[LargeAndInCharge towering]], [[AmazonianBeauty muscular]], [[TheLadette fight-loving woman]] with a ''very'' [[HotBlooded fiery temper]]. However, Raijin veers more towards CuteMonsterGirl when her [[{{Tsundere}} deredere side surfaces]] (moreso around [[TinyGuyHugeGirl her]] [[GodCouple lover]], the cute and adorable [[BlowYouAway Fujin]]).

* ''LookingForGroup'' has the priestess Benn'Joon, one of the main characters. She's an odd-looking, green-skinned, sharp-toothed CuteMonsterGirl of canonically uncertain lineage (and [[AxeCrazy prone to homicidal rages]]; [[LittleMissBadass even as a baby, she was able to stab full grown soldiers in the eyes]]).
