** In ''The Bestie Who Stole My Heart'', Ronnie Anne and Sid are shipped together.

** Many fics featured in the story do this to Lincoln, with fanfic Lincoln often sobbing over the pettiest of reasons. Lincoln does not like these fics at all.
** Likewise, in the first story of episode 11 ("Lynn's Bruised Hand"), Lynn [[ExactlyWhatItSaysOnTheTin bruises her hand]] and wangsts about not being able to play sports because of it. The real Lynn does not take this well and calls this version of herself a "wimpy sad-sack" after the fic is over.

* RealityEnsues: After Grammy's [[spoiler:pretend]] FaceHeelTurn in the Halloween special ("Attack of the 50 Foot Sister"), he begins to update the story to accurately reflect what would ''really'' happen when a 50-foot tall human wreaks havoc on a city.

* SomeAnvilsNeedToBeDropped: In-universe, episode 18 ("Hughs And Kisses") is this for Lori, Luna and Lisa as they realize through the fic just how creepy and disturbing their actions towards Hugh were.

* MistakenEthnicity: [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]], where the VillainProtagonist of the story (an evil version of Luan Loud) makes an antisemitic joke, and Lori (who's reading the story with four others) apologises to Benny. Benny is offended that Lori assumed he was Jewish, but it turns out that he is Jewish? he just doesn't like people assuming he is based on his appearance.
