* NoEndorHolocaust: Averted. See Prime!Twilight's long RealityEnsues rant on the problems of Equestria appearing in the sea, which doesn't happen in this story, since the only means of travel between Equus and Earth is via magical portals, and the parts of Earth consumed by the Barrier are being colonized by the TCB!Ponies (though it's revealed they're having a hard time at it).

* RightWingMilitiaFanatic: The HLF, who are usually the heroic go-to anti-pony LaResistance in anti-TCB fanfiction, have devolved into this in this universe. There's likely an element of deconstruction involved, directed at both traditional ''Conversion Bureau'' tropes – showing how, for example, most of them likely wouldn't get along well with ponies, [[RealityEnsues it is unlikely that most military forces would fall under their umbrella]], and their rigidness makes them remarkably ineffective at opposing Imperial Equestria. It's also worth mentioning that it originally wasn't intended as this in-universe – this HLF has its roots in a support group designed for helping the friends and family members of people that took the ponification potion deal with the radical personality changes their loved ones went through. However, it quickly attracted a multitude of unsavory characters after the war began.

* RapeIsASpecialKindOfEvil: Prime!Chrysalis may have had no problem with leeching off his love for Cadance while impersonating her, but she never once considered "sharing herself" with Shining Armor during her attempted takeover.
* RealityEnsues: Twilight explains the scientific reasons that the usual [[FanFic/TheConversionBureau TCB]] plot wherein Equestria just pops up out in the middle of the ocean is impossible. Besides the massive amounts of magical energy it would take to transport an entire continent to another dimension, that is:

Fluttershy, [[FriendToAllLivingThings gentle soul that she is]], replies by arguing back that humanity's bloody history is a natural consequence of living on a harsher world than Equus without the guidance of a benevolent higher being, a state it has sought to rise above ever since. It's notable in that Weaver concedes to the spirit of what is said, but ultimately deems it inadequate.

** Mankind's general acceptance of the Conversion Bureaus prior to the war does stretch WillingSuspensionOfDisbelief, considering that even "progressive" human societies tend to be slow in embracing new medical practices. Plus, this kind of GenreBlindness feels like it belongs to a world in which works of fiction such as the ''Series/TwilightZone'' episode "To Serve Man" were never made.

* TheReasonYouSuckSpeech: There are plenty of these to go around. Marcus gives a few to the Prime!Mane Six (when he thinks he's fighting their TCB counterparts), TCB!Trixie gives one to a guard near Spike, Queen Celestia gives one to Princess Celestia and then [[BadassBoast Princess Celestia returns]] [[CrowningMomentOfAwesome the favor tenfold]], Princess Celestia gives one to Discord, Discord gives one to Princess Celestia... Though, to be fair, it's a Conversion Bureau fanfic, and a [[DeconstructionFic deconstructive]] HateFic, against Chatoyance, who has given plenty of material.
