** The primary moral of the story is "only you should write your destiny," usually coupled with "you're shortchanging yourself by serving anyone who doesn't value you as a person." That's nice, but it's a moral waiting to be broken many, many times [[AuthorAppeal when some of the things the authors evidently enjoyed writing about most]] were having OC's who were awesome superpowered ass-kickers that usually obliterated their enemies in giant explosions [[note]] Even back then there were shows indicating the series was veering away from that kind of thing, like ''[[Series/KamenRiderDouble Double]]'' and ''[[Series/KamenRiderOOO OOO]]'', meaning there were examples of alternatives. [[/note]], and making displays of telling off big jerks. Most of those enemies are members of GIN-SHOCKER which numerous heroes end up defecting from, but the heroes just blow them up without making an effort to help them escape too, and the jerky characters they put in their place are treated as irredeemable bullies to be forgotten. When a hero actually offered someone the chance to change their ways, it was practically always a beautiful girl who'd fall in love with him for it.

** The story tries for an anti-suicide message during the ANTI-THESIS arc. But the reason for it is...Shinichi's a powerful cyborg constantly hounded by evil cyborgs who want to reprogram him into an unstoppable killer and he was about to be defeated and captured by one of them. Never mind how in that case there are some defensible reasons to go through with it. Even if Shinichi did die, two of his closest friends are Rias from ''LightNovel/HighSchoolDxD'' and Hime from ''Manga/PrincessResurrection'' (supernatural women who use their powers to bring the male main character back from the dead as one of the first things in their respective stories).

While Shiori does worry for Shinichi's mental state and physical well-being in light of his experiences as a Kamen Rider, she is not only perfectly all right with Shinichi having a sex life, she ''encourages'' it! Fodder for her erotica novels, mind you, but still... Well, she's either this or an astonishingly rare example of the [[PervertDad Pervert Mom]]... although she is just as [[ChivalrousPervert chivalrous about her perversion]] as Shinichi is about his. [[LikeFatherLikeSon Like mother, like son]], after all.
** This also applies to Yuji's parents, Yusei and Aki. Yusei learned of GIN-SHOCKER through Carl Washam and was brought up to speed when his son returned home. Also, Aki was able to figure out that three cyborg assassins and a DarkMagicalGirl were her son's girlfriends, just by meeting them! She even accepted that Yuji had developed a harem with said girls, and is actually proud of him.
** Then there's Xianglian Xang, Qiao's birth mother and Netto's surrogate mother. As an [[TheEmpath empath]], she was able to quickly tell that Netto was getting a harem of his own. And she supports it!
