** All of Enter Fishstick's characters have names that begin with the letter Z.

** A SecretUndergroundPassage connects Dinosaur Island to the sewage and subway systems of LEGOCity.

** In ''Roleplay/AlphaTeamMissionDeepFreezeRPG'', a Vinscale Octomus was a rare sight. In ''Dino Attack RPG'', there was an entire swarm of Mutant Vinscale Octomus off the coast of LEGOCity, which has thankfully been exterminated.

** There's a mass invasion of LEGOCity by mutant dinosaurs and what does Walter decide to do? Stay in the safety of HQ? Leave and participate in the fight? No, he just decided to take advantage of the fact that there wasn't anyone running the local bowling alleys and went bowling with Dude and Donnie. [[SarcasmMode This seems like a reasonable decision that probably won't have any unpleasant consequences.]]

** Dino Attack Headquarters is meant to be Dino Attack Team's one safe haven in LEGOCity. It's been leveled by Kotua, bombed by Cam O'Cozy, and nearly destroyed from the inside by Firecracker. And then there's Mutant Dinos infiltrating the building. Wonderful.

* WhatHappenedToTheMouse:
** Often happens as a result of a character being OutOfFocus.
** An in-universe example of WhatHappenedToTheMouse is that characters often wonder what happened to Databoard.
** Kotua is another equally-infamous example, considering he became the primary antagonist of an entire story arc and then was never seen again. Interestingly, this example also extends to real life, since Kotua's (the player, not the character) last post in ''Dino Attack RPG'' was one of his last posts on Website/{{BZPower}}, after which time he more or less vanished from the face of the internet and nobody knew what happened to him until he was eventually found on UsefulNotes/{{Steam}}.
** Due to most side stories taking a back seat once the StoryArc formula was introduced, the status of the Dino Alien invasion is unknown.
** What happened to the XERRD scientist who accidentally switched bodies with a Hybrid?

** [=PeabodySam=] and Jackson Lake worked out a rough idea for a confrontation during the FinalBattle between Dr. Rex and Katerina Schattenberg, aka Catherine Alexander, which would cause Dr. Rex to question his actions and fight back against his enslavement to the Maelstrom. Unfortunately, when the moment finally arrived for JL to initiate this confrontation, he got carried away and had Katerina [[spoiler:''disown'' her brother]]. This, of course, [[DespairEventHorizon had the opposite effect from what had originally intended]]. Now there is an enraged, invincible, nigh-unstoppable T-Rex charging towards DAHQ even more determined to raze it to the ground.

** [[spoiler:Illusion!]]Kotua taunted Rex by telling him about how Perfect Chaos drowned all his tamed Mutant Dinos.

** SecretSecretKeeper: Frozeen deduced Silencia Venomosa's identity several hours before asking Amanda for confirmation.

** ReferenceOverdosed: As a result.

* TheSleepless: A good chunk of the cast between the the end of the first RPG and the beginning of ''At War's End'', which began the exact same night. Pretty much everyone at Outpost 4 except Fuchs was up for a large portion of the night (out of all of them Garry probably got the most sleep), not to mention the doctors and so forth. Somewhat justified, as they had an urgent need to regroup as soon as possible, though it is somewhat odd that Crusher was the only one who really seemed tired.

** BlatantBurglar: The Brickster, who wears a DominoMask and a jail jumpsuit at all times. His Brickster-Bots also wear the jail clothes.
** EyepatchOfPower: Snake, Demoman, Colonel, Holly Vinyaya, and Captain Click.
** HighClassGlass: Lord Sam Sinister, although he has forsaken his top hat for the Dino Attack.
** MadScientist: Nearly every Mad Scientist wears a lab coat (Walter Breen being one of the only exceptions), and Frank Einstein has the EinsteinHair.

** Spy: Spy, preferring the Film/JamesBond-esque style, goes for the TuxedoAndMartini look.

** BigStupidDoodooHead: The harshest insult that Fogel, an even darker and more evil version of Evil Ogel, could come up with was "Mrs. Dumb-Mouth".
** ChewBubblegum: Sarah Bishop shouted a BZP-friendly version of the famous line before killing a bunch of Inferno henchmen and Hybrids.

*** Garry's rationale for ordering Fuchs to help in the emergency room.
*** The rationale of the founding members when they temporarily promoted Shannon Grimton, who was a technology expert, to head of communications. Of course, they only remembered afterwards that they had Hertz, who was much closer for the job...
*** When Pierce decided to marry Sarah Bishop, the closest thing they had to an actual minister was a shy, semi-religious young doctor. Not exactly the best choice but it was either her or Pharisee.

** DontAsk: You probably don't want to know the reason why Amanda knows not to hide dead or unconscious bodies in utility closets.

** DontSneakUpOnMeLikeThat: Sam Race was easily startled by Greybeard after the final battle, one of several hints pointing towards PTSD being a long-term effect of the Dino Attack for Race.

*** Garry's moral issues over whether to turn in Rotor. On the one hand he could keep quiet, allowing the team to keep a good leader that they will need in the upcoming battle, but he is still an accomplice to cold-blooded torture, making him no better. On the other hand, he could turn Rotor in. However, the team would be deprived of the one man who can lead a T-1 squad. He would also most likely be punished himself though probably not as severely as if he kept quiet, and worst of all Rotor might try to kill him out of anger. Interestingly, Garry actually chose to keep quiet, though he deliberately faked Jenny's death to get her as far away from Rotor as possible.
*** Called out by Carolyne Provencal when she was at Zach's mercy with her One-Hit Kill Agony Beam staff. Despite wishing to humanely kill Provencal, Zach causes him to go ahead and kill her with the staff.
** ItHasBeenAnHonor:
*** Dust wanted Rockford to know that it was an honor to have known him.
*** Specs, Semick, and Rex have all invoked this trope when talking to their fellow Dino Attack agents towards the end of the FinalBattle.
** ItHasOnlyJustBegun: Reptile said this after the defeat of Dr. Rex. This was also the theme of the final ''Dino Attack RPG'' post, emphasizing that the end of ''Dino Attack RPG'' marks the beginning of a brand new chapter in everybody's lives.
** ItIsNotYourTime: Played with. The mysterious voice that Kotua, Databoard, Frozeen, Trigger, and Rex all heard upon death told them that it ''was'' their time. Kotua, Databoard, and Frozeen had to convince the voice otherwise in order to be revived, and by the time it was Frozeen's turn, the voice was less than willing to comply. Trigger did not even get a chance to convince the voice, and Rex is the only one who peacefully accepted the voice.
** ItsPersonal: The motivations of Shadow, Blade, Jordan, and Talia Kaahs. Also King Joseph Race, after Willa the Witch killed Sir Robert Batrick. Rex, too, during the later stages of the final battle.
** KillHimAlready: What Greybeard wanted to do after Dr. Rex's fall. If only Rex had listened to him instead of wanting to give Dr. Rex some CruelMercy...

*** Seeing as he was a barren man, Wallace Bishop viewed his lab assistant as his daughter.

** NeverHeardThatOneBefore: After Frozeen was killed by Dr. Rex, he was revived through the same deus ex machina process as Kotua and Databoard in ''Roleplay/AlphaTeamMissionDeepFreezeRPG''. However, Frozeen found it harder to convince the mysterious voice to revive him than either Kotua or Databoard, since the mysterious voice was tired of reviving individuals ''every time'' they insisted "But my friends need me!" Played for laughs, since Kotua and Databoard abused the voice's revival abilities in the ''Alpha Team RPG''.
** NotAfraidOfYouAnymore: According to Word of God, this is how Greybeard vanquished his illusion in the Maelstrom Temple.

** PortalNetwork: King Joseph Race and Sam Race established a Portal Network between Dino Attack Headquarters and Ogel Control Center.

** [[SubvertedTrope Subverted]]. [[spoiler:Baron Typhonus used the Maelstrom to cure [[HandicappedBadass Rex's]] paralysis. Then, the Maelstrom turned on Rex, constricting him and leaving him unable to even move. When the Maelstrom finally let go, Rex was once again paralyzed.]]

Many of Atton Rand's characters, especially his tougher ones are seen to smoke frequently, among them Snake, Trigger, Clint, and Angel Eyes.

* SmugSnake: Evil Ogel, Lord von Barron, Walter Breen, Blaire Darkling, and [[spoiler:the Darkitect]].

** There are a total of 243 named Dino Attack agents recorded on the official wiki. Out of those, there are only 26 female agents[[note]]Anya, Aravis, Buffy, Cabin, Catless, Claw, Contest, Dromus, Fabello, Holly Vinyaya, Kara Wise, Katana, Kate Bishop, Maria, Mercedes, Parr, Scope, Shock, Shona, Stealth, Willow, Wing, Wright, Zealot, Zelda, and Zenna[[/note]]. Of those 26, only four are elite agents[[note]]Cabin, Fabello, Mercedes, and Zenna[[/note]], in comparison to 25 male elite agents; prior to the Adventurers' Island StoryArc, there were no named female elite agents.

** Plastic Serpent is probably the worst case of the lot. The negative portrayals of Agents and Power Miners were largely the result of NostalgiaFilter and players growing up on their spiritual predecessors, but it was at least made clear that this may simply be the viewpoint of many of the characters and not absolute fact; additionally, Agents and Power Miners were progressively depicted in a better light over the course of the RPG, thanks to characters like Osprey and Semick. Plastic Serpent, meanwhile was a completely unnecessary allegory to emphasize a claim that later turned out to be entirely false [[note]]Atton Rand was trying to get back at players mistaking Snake for an {{Expy}} of [[Franchise/MetalGear Solid Snake]] rather than the [[Film/EscapeFromNewYork Snake Plissken]], and obtaining some very flimsy "evidence" concluded that Solid Snake was a rip-off of Snake Plissken. He then proceeded to write a bunch of posts in which "Snake Plissken" beat up "Solid Snake" to emphasize his opinion that Snake Plissken was better, and ignored his fellow players' attempts to suggest alternative theories towards the characters' similarities.[[/note]].
