Most of the time she's bitter and cynical, yet she can always be relied upon to do the right thing when it comes down to it. She does slowly grow warmer with her friends and her girlfriend though, genuinely believing in them

Later she no longer wants a reassignment, but says she'll ensure that they're up to standard. She eventually considers them both her sisters.

* JerkToNiceGuyPlot: Abigail is exceptionally rude and condescending to Raelle and Tally at first, even trying to convince Alder to switch her to a new unit, but slowly grows to care for, protect, and defend them.

* JerkToNiceGuyPlot:
** She warms up considerably to Raelle after the latter manages to bring Abigail home from the suicide mission. Initially she had viewed Raelle and Tally, Abigail's squad mates, as just impediments keeping her from success.
** Her relationship with Abigail also improves when she grows more understanding of her and less pushy about her success, becoming much warmer to her daughter over time.

* BitchInSheepsClothing: Of all the Council members, Milly is the most openly sympathetic to the Belweather unit and clashes with the initially hostile Thelma over it, [[spoiler:but is actually TheMole for the Camarilla]].

* CloudCuckoolander: As one of the oldest members of the Council, she's seen as a bit daft and unserious about her duties, and consequently, the others have been ignoring her concerns about her territory for years. [[spoiler:This bites them in the ass when she enables the US Army to breach the Cession and poisons them before they can mount a defense.]]
* CoolOldLady: Compared to the rest of the Council, she's fairly laid-back.
* MistreatmentInducedBetrayal: [[spoiler:She sells out the Council because they've been ignoring her people's concerns for years.]]

* ProperlyParanoid: "Book Club" reveals that she's been preparing her own militia for years on the off chance that someone tried to invade the Cession, which comes in very handy when Silver declares war.

A male High Atlantic cadet at Fort Salem. Formerly Libba Swythe's boyfriend, he becomes betrothed to Abigail Bellweather in season 2, much to her consternation.

* MauveShirt: She has a full name (Guadalupe Cortez), a nickname (Lupe), and characterization (she likes the Mothertongue class, and tries to give the Bellweather unit a head start while still following her orders), so she's a bit more known before being killed off.
* TwoferTokenMinority: A supporting character, she's the first Latina in the series to judge by her name (her actress is a Colombian-Canadian).

* BewareTheNiceOnes: Being part of an ancient pacifist tribe doesn't stop him from punching witch-phobes in the face or level an entire Camarilla facility to the ground with his powers.

* TookALevelInBadass: [[spoiler:In the finale of the first season, as a consequence of her symbiotic contact with the mycelium, Raelle, in addition to obtaining the ability to be able to resurrect herself every time she dies, obtains a significant increase in her magic that gives her a series of unique abilities (such as being able to create a considerable explosion capable of transforming any enemy into a whole with the fungal properties of the mycelium itself). Furthermore, she and Izadora discover that this symbiosis has significantly increased her ability to vocalize since the mycelium is none other than that remains of the magical essence of all witches when they die since the time of Salem and consequently Raelle herself has been chosen as the spokesperson for their collective power. Scylla is not wrong in considering her as one of the most powerful witches around.]]

* FamousAncestor: Her ancestor was Jem Bellweather, one of the first witches in the American military, and the greatest weather-manipulator in history.

* TookALevelInBadass: [[spoiler:In the second season Abigail, frustrated by not having control over her sentimental choices and the fact that she feels the weight of the magical feats of her ancestor Jem, who was masterfully able to create numerous tornadoes with which she wiped out her enemies, which weighs on their family since none of them have been able to replicate this vocalization, she begins to train in an extreme way in an attempt to replicate the same results as Jem, ending up straining her voice too much to the point that in the next episode she needs to recover. However when she is sent to capture the leader of the Spree, Nicte Batan, and falls under her illusion scenario, Abigail finally manages to master the magic.]]

* JerkassHasAPoint: Despite the cadets being half-trained and there being civilians in the Spree's truck, Alder makes a point in stating that if the cadets' hadn't been sent out, thousands of people would have died.
