* MaternallyChallenged: Fights with her son, goes off to the bar every night, and spends most of her days wandering aimlessly outside. The baby will be fine on his own...

* RichesToRags: If you marry her she happily goes from richest girl in town living in an enormous mansion on top of a hill to farmer's wife down by the river. However it should be noted that the player character can earn a LOT of money as a farmer, so this can be subverted.

* EducationMama: In ''[[VideoGame/HarvestMoonAWonderfulLife AWL]]'' she really wants to see her son grow up to be a scientist, and always wants him to be studying.

Your child will appear in Chapter 2 after they were born. Their interests and what career they will have can be influenced by your decisions and who your friends are. They can have one of six different careers consisting of: Rancher, Farmer, Artist, Musician, Scholar and Athlete.

The town's doctor. He will move in permanently in Chapter 2 since he only makes visits from Town to the Villa in Chapter 1.

* AgeInappropriateDress: Even when their face is wrinkled and their hair is gray, the main character's outfit never changes. An old man or woman running around in the clothes they wore as a teenager is... quite an interesting spectacle.
