The series protagonist, lead guitarist/singer of Grojband, and Trina Riffin's younger brother. Corey is a confident, energetic, and optimistic 13-year-old boy determined to make his band the best there is, despite his minute attention span and inability to see the obvious. He is always on the lookout for new gigs that Grojband can play and uses Trina's diary entries as inspiration for the lyrics to his band's songs.

The lead guitarist/lead singer of the Newmans and Mina Beff's younger sister. She's more competent in writing lyrics than her male counterpart Corey, but shares his confident attitude and love of grabbing every musical gig possible.

* AlphaBitch: She is a stereotypical mean girl with a stuck-up, shallow personality to boot. She's even more of an Alpha Bitch than Trina.

* {{Nerd}}: His appearance and GadgeteerGenius tendencies certainly qualify him as one. Trina even calls him a nerd a few times, and in "Math of Kon", he's totally psyched to play at a math competition.

* {{Nerd}}: As her bespectacled appearance suggests. She's quite an intelligent girl, with a fondness for math and science.

* CoolBigSis: Unlike Trina and Cory, she and her younger sister Carrie get along swimmingly.

* BeautyIsBad: Her braces aside, she's one of the prettier females on the show, despite being the antagonist.

* AlphaBitch: Shs is a stereotypical mean girl with a stuck-up, shallow personality to boot. She's even more of an Alpha Bitch than Trina.

* {{Expy}}: According to the creators, she's based on Watts from the movie ''Film/SomeKindOfWonderful''. She also has a lot in common with [[ComicBook/ScottPilgrim Kim Pine]], right down to originally being envisioned as Grojband's drummer.

Personality-wise however, she's got a lot of [[WesternAnimation/TotalDrama Beth]] and [[WesternAnimation/{{Sidekick}} Kitty Ko]] in her (such as being characterized as a nerd, having a sweet personality, and working as a follower to an AlphaBitch; she even shares the same voice actress as the latter). Given that ''Grojband'' was produced by many of the people behind ''Total Drama'' and ''Sidekick'', this isn't too surprising.
