Afterwards though, she silently cries to herself in her room. That doesn't last long either as she eventually comes to the belief that he's alive as proven by the end.]]

* PsychicLink: The "Brain Raid System" allows the operators to monitor the brainwaves of the pilots, and should a pilot reach a certain level of brain activity, it can inadvertently cause a link to form between pilots. Namely, when Akito's Geass command activates and turns him into TheBerserker, the BRS can send the other pilots into a similar state, as well as show them his memories. While this initially affects them undeterred, as the pilots grow closer and try to help Akito move past his demons, they manage to resist the command and simultaneously pull Akito out of it. [[spoiler:This gets taken UpToEleven once Leila's Geass fully awakens, as it allows ''everyone'' to link their minds together, allowing not only the entirety of [=wZERO=], but also the spirits of Akito's former unit ''and'' those that Shin cared for but used his Geass on, to rally behind Akito and stop Shin from killing him.]]
