The fact he doesn't appear to try getting to know Persia as an individual is a hint his love for her prevents him from getting to actually know her as an individual.

* EvenTheGirlsWantHer: In her very brief stint as [[{{Bifauxnen}} Shumio]], she already amassed a legion of fangirls. And they're all well aware she is a girl.ness

* BigDamnHeroes: He pulls this off in the finale. After Char makes a bold declaration of peace for Touwa and the West, the Dahlia students are about to be in the center stage of a massive riot, until Scott arrives with a bus to ensure a safe getaway.

* CrazyJealousGuy: This is a given, considering how head-over-heels he is for Juliet. He displays an intimidating BattleAura when he first meets Aby and the latter tries flirting with Juliet. Before they started dating even, this is the crux of his (eventually one-sided) rivalry with Scott, who does things for Juliet that Romeo wants to do.

** While Romeo is escorting Teria and Kochou during the festival, they prank him with a barrage of pies. He ends up with so many on him that they taunt him as the mysterious 'pie man'.

* PieInTheFace: While she and Romeo were fighting, Romeo invaded her birthday party each year to throw a pie in her face. After they start dating, he does the same thing as an excuse to see her on her birthday. She and Romeo end up throwing a pie in each other's faces to bring the pie fight to a draw.

* ResolvedNoodleIncident: In the first chapter, she is distraught that Romeo specifically saw her being victimized. Ten volumes later, a flashback explains why she felt that way (aside from Romeo having needled her for years).

* ManicPixieDreamGirl: She tries to distract Romeo when he's sulking, but rarely succeeds. He appreciates the effort, though.

* NumberTwo: To Romeo, before plot development. He primarily fights alongside her, and tells her stuff he doesn't tell his own family. Hasuki gradually becomes more comfortable with leadership, though, even running for prefect.
* PieInTheFace: Starts the big pie fight in Chapter 17 by throwing a pie in Scott's face. Unfortunately, her mind quickly wanders when Romeo runs off to see Julia, and Scott gets his revenge by pieing her, leaving the two of them to trade insults.

* EvilCannotComprehendGood: She genuinely believes that Romeo will meekly follow her if she offers him protection from the bullies she sicced on him and Juliet. Unfortunately for her, Romeo has never betrayed people he loves, and he's not about to start now.

* BigBrotherBully: He has beaten Romeo bloody several times, ostensibly to 'improve' him.

* BothSidesHaveAPoint: Airu considers Romio an irresponsible delinquent whose antics are making things harder for their family. Romeo considers Airu a jackass who holds him to unfairly high standards and never interacts with him except for disciplinary reasons. Airu isn't wrong that Romio wasn't putting effort into anything substantial and Romio that Airu is going too far with his standards, but Airu's refusal to even try reaching a compromise makes him the obvious antagonist of that arc.

* NotSoDire: when Shuna expresses her desire to leave the Inuzuka household, Romeo confronts her thinking she wants to strike out on her own. What Shuna actually meant was that she was going to enter Dahlia the coming school year.

** Seemingly confirmed in the final chapter. Up to that point she seems to have an implied crush on Scott, and she teases him more than anyone else. In the final chapter, she and Scott seem to be in a BDSM dom/sub relationship. She has Scott as her pet, years after they've already graduated. Still doesn't stop Scott from crying about Juliet marrying Romeo though.

* BaitAndSwitch: Char personally invited Romio to come to her upcoming debutante ball. Romio later learned that the first person the princess chooses to dance with will be the center of attention at the ball, and he immediately assumes that Char plans to choose Juliet for that position and then rub it in his face. [[spoiler:Surprising absolutely everyone, Char chose Romio as her partner (hence the personal invite). But then Romio later learns that Char only did so to make a bold declaration of peace between Touwa and the West. And she did it to show Romeo up after all, bragging that she made the first move to change the world before he could.]] And then it becomes switched again when it's revealed (only through Char's monologue) that this is her backhanded way of finally, ''finally'' accepting Romio and Juliet.

** "Boarding School Juliet Extra Pages" often pair her up with fellow SecretKeeper Hasuki as well.

* PieInTheFace: When Romeo leads the Black Cats to invade Juliet's birthday party, Scott threatens him with a pie in the face. Predictably for Scott, his attempts backfire and his speech is interrupted by him being on the receiving end of a pie, courtesy of Hasuki. He gets his revenge later.

* AmbiguouslyBi: He thinks that Romeo is somehow interested in him in ''that'' way, and doesn't seem to be bothered by it. It's probably because he thinks too highly of himself.

* MsImagination: Chiwa; she has a wild imagination.

* CynicismCatalyst: while it doesn't certainly involve death, one more reason Turkish was bitter was because he never heard anything from Chiwa ever since they went their separate ways. As far as he knew, she might have suffered worse treatment from her countrymen [[ItsAllMyFault because of him]]. Learning that Chiwa never regretted their time together and still found happiness later in life certainly helped Turkish to move on from his guilt and finally give his blessing to Romio and Juliet.

* DCupDistress: The equally busty Char calls her the "Fanged Titty-Monster".they

* BreakHisHeartToSaveHim: He attempts a temporary example during the end of the School Festival, when he sees Juliet being undecisive whether to spend the closing ceremonies with him at a parade, or with her mother Rackdoll. Romio puts up his usual JerkassFacade in front of them so Juliet would get angry at him and she would go to Rackdoll. In the end, [[spoiler:Juliet chooses to go to the parade with Romio anyway. After [[WhatTheHellHero giving him an earful]] for his actions, of course.]]

* {{Bishonen}}: He has a rather pretty face. When he enters a cross-dressing event in the school festival, no one can recognize him at first because he completely looks like a girl.

* FashionDesigner: Pursued this career in the DistantFinale.

* HateAtFirstSight: Mutually with Romio during childhood, for what Char percieved as him bullying her best friend for no reason.

* PeekABangs: Her hair covers her left eye, symbolizing how, in spite of being an openly tyrannical princess, she still has some things she hides from others.

* OverprotectiveDad: Seems to have become a comical one in the DistantFinale, giving Romio a frightening look after walking Juliet down the aisle.

* TheWomanWearingTheQueenlyMask: The appearance she exudes while leading the White Cats. She lets her guard down around her closest friends and Inuzuka, revealing she is really just a normal girl.

* TheyDo: [[spoiler: After seven years of waiting and struggling to prove himself worthy, he finally ties the knot with Juliet.]]

* OneHundredPercentAdorationRating: For all the White Cats. There was slight opposition from Aby's faction, but that group was eventually disbanded.
