** And even on Earth, the concept of "land" is also a legend.legend, at least on Gargantia. ''Meguru Kouro, Haruka'' however makes mention of "Land nations", but it's ambiguous if this is merely a title for another fleet/hub/etc, or literally a nation on dry land.

* AmbiguouslyBrown: Amy and many others living on the ship, although they may simply be sun-tanned, given that Amy's younger brother, an IllBoy, has a pale complexion. There are a number of people who have a noticeably darker complexion than Amy and Bellows, such as one of Pinion's female coworkers, and a couple of the fleet captains are of a noticeably different race or ethnicity, with at least one who looks African.
** With Amy, it's almost certainly a tan. Look at her shoulders, it's constantly sunburnt red.

* CommieLand: What Kugel establishes in his fleet and argues for - a nation where free enterprise is abolished, along with even money, putting it on par with Red Khmer Cambodia. Everyone is assigned work by the leadership, whose plan is everything. Happiness is defined as working for the common good, which is defined by the leadership. This is also what the Alliance has become.
Is there an issue? Send a MessageReason:
It's communist, not fascist. He abolishes private enterprise and money, and assigns everyone to work for the central plan, as opposed to the Gargantian fleet.

* IronicEcho: "Humans need each other." First said by everyone in ''Gargantia'' in order for Ledo to learn to rely on others. Later said by [[spoiler:Kugel in order to justify his faux-religious fascist order,]] citing that humans are weak and must be corralled into totalitarianism. Doubly ironic because [[spoiler:Kugel is actually dead all along and it's Striker who put his persona, and it's based on ''wrong'' conclusion she draw in regard to humanity]].

Ridiculously childish tone, Juicehead_Baby. Furthermore, the Alliance is communist, not Nazist. No private enterprise and no money allowed, only rations.

** The Alliance's relationship with this trope is particularly evident when Chamber expounds on the differences between Hideauze and humans when Ledo begins having second thoughts about his mission to destroy them. His description of the Hideauze as mindless creatures who exist only to eat and breed and must be destroyed before they consume all the resources that rightfully belong to intellectually superior humanity sound disturbingly similar to the way classic Nazis and modern "White Nationalists" and similar filth talk about the "lesser races".
